I am from Michigan as well and I have a friend named Aaron and an old friend named Erin. Aaron- Air-inErin - Air-inI don't see the difference other than I think the spelling is different because one is for girls and one is for boys. I don't think they are actually pronounced differently.

Aaron and Erin sound completely different. I guess that Aaron sounds like Darren without the D, but you guys may well pronounce Derryn and Darren the same, so thats probably no use.In other news, i still suck at poker, and kick arse at blackjack. After tilting off my $1700 poker stack on Monday i went to Blackjack and won 3k in 6 minutes. Starting at 125, igot to 1000 (max) and hit blackjack, then won a few more smaller bets. Im from Windsor which is pretty much the meeting place of all the fucked up accents of Midwest US and Canada, and I pretty much always heard it pronounced the same: Air-in although the alternatives given do seem to make sense. People that would demand the name Erin or Aaron prounounced in a specific fashion must have been ridiculed for years as a child. I guess you could pronounce Aaron - Ehhh - Ron, so pronouncing it Air-in is a much nicer alternative I would think.

Not that anyone cares no do I give a crap if you don't but just a mini rant about retards that come into my office and bother me.This skank came in back in Jan to get an application to an apartment. She came back 7 weeks ago with it completed. Well sort of. She didn't put down her yearly income. Very important item. She said she had no idea. How does one not know how much they make? How do you go through life not even using a calculator one day and looking it up? Anyway, she says like 19K a year. I tell her right then and there that she would not be approved. She gets uppity and starts asking me why.I tell her that the apartment she is looking at requires an income of $26K and all applicants need to show a credit score of 625 or higher. I also add that the application states she needs to submit a employment verification letter and a recent paystub or W2 form to prove the yearly income. She starts fumbling in her purse and hands me a paystub from last Novemeber. Nope. She tells me how much she thinks she makes gross per paycheck and I add it up and it is around $22K. I tell her that she is still under. She tells me she thinks she makes more so she will bring the letter and a new paystub on Friday when she gets paid. 2 weeks go by. I hear nothing from her. She went on vacation. She calls back when she gets back and tells me that I can go to some site and pull her verification and income. I tell her that I know that site and we do not accept it. I have to pay $13 to get that info. We do not pay for something that should be free. I explain to her that a woman who works at the same place she does just got accepted for an apartment and she was able to get her supervisor to write out her verification letter so she needs to do the same. For a week she calls me each day telling me that no one will write it. I tell her that she needs it to get approved. She says she will and will bring in the paystub the next day and for me to start the process. So I pull up her credit score. 517. Which is fucking horrid. 625 is risky and we still accept that but we like to see 650+. She calls two days later telling me that she can't get a employment verification letter. I tell her that the owners are not accepting her without a it plus she needs to show over $26K in income because her credit was bad. I had not heard from her since (2 weeks or so) and she showed up about 40 minutes ago with a paystub and no letter. She says they will only do it through the site. So I just looked at her and said, well then I am sorry to say you are not approved. She gets all mad and says well aren't you going to look at my paystub? I asked her why since I told her countless times that I need that letter. She says she will give me $13 and we can pull it now. I tell her let's see if your paystub shows over $26K like I told you it needed to. Nope...$18K!!! not even close. What a fucking idiot. I hand it back and tell her sorry you are not approved and her boyfriend jumps in and starts yelling at me. You have a very high risk credit score, you make $8K less than what we require, and you still can't prove to me that you work where you say.
