turd ferguson 1
I don't believe a single person who posts here on a regular basis says anything (*anything*, ever) with the intent of hurting feelings or driving people away because they don't want them around.:slowly looks around and cautiously raises hand:

Shimmering Wang 1
I REALLY miss drinking pretty much all the time..... you Wang?Nailed it. Instead of intermittent and nearly irresistable cravings, I now have a dull, dark ache where the booze used to be.My doctors tell me that's just my liver regrowing itself, though. beans-n-icewater 18
Nailed it. Instead of intermittent and nearly irresistable cravings, I now have a dull, dark ache where the booze used to be.My doctors tell me that's just my liver regrowing itself, though.I've not had any cravings, aches, pains, etc...I quit smoking without any problems as wellMy personality and general behaviour in public has changed somewhat. I attended a meeting (not AA) a few days ago and got quite a few "Are you feeling ok, Beans?" and "Whyya bein so quiet, Beans....you upta something???"I am noticing a big difference in the amount of productive time in my day.... I used to be done for the day around noonIt is kinda nice to roll by a cop without worries... I even exceed the speed limit once in a while now... knowingly

zimmer4141 0
Updates:I didn't have anything shoved up my peehole, I was simply referred to the nation's best expert on my condition, who happens to be a doctor at U of M. And a woman, kinda awkward, you know, to have a woman looking at my penis, professionally or unprofessionally.I love 24. That is all.
ShakeZuma 585
It's like being friends with a Christian. I disagree but I can't change his mind anymore than he can mine and just like Christianity, it's a tiny part of who he is.I mean, it's not like he carries a white hood and a rope in his trunk.Cause he drives a pickup.See what I did there?Funny story. I actually knew a guy who was in the Klan. Yes, the actual Klan. At least I guess he was, he said he went to meetings. I listened to what he had to say about it, but I didn't really hear what he said, cause my mind was in a constant state of a loud humming of my brain trying to figure out the right questions to ask... are you really serious? was the only thing I could come up with. I mean the fucking Klan. You hate a race so much that you have to dress up and meet a bunch of other guys in the woods and burn stuff to express your hatred. Yep, thats normal.I wish I had the Scrubs season 5 DVDs. They aren't online anymore and I really want to see some episodes I haven't seen before.yeah they aren't and that really bites my goat. I got to about the 3rd to last episode of season 5 when they got cut off, and ever since, I've refused to watch the new ones until I can finish 5. Its a hard life.
ajs510 122
You hate a race so much that you have to dress up and meet a bunch of other guys in the woods and burn stuff to express your hatred. Yep, thats normal.Sounds about as rational as getting all dressed up once a week to go sit in a room with a bunch of like-minded folks to listen to someone read from a book, tell you how to live your life, and sing a few songs. To me, anyway. Generally speaking, people need to be led and told what to think because they're incapable of believing that they can manage their own lives. Whether you become a Good Christian, an LA Crip, a Greenpeace crusader or a member of the KKK is a matter of who you choose for your friends, how you're brought up, and how easily you buy into whatever the people you surround yourself with are selling. Personally, I think the whole world and everyone in it is full of shit in varying degrees. Naturally, the people I choose to surround myself with generally look to me for leadership. MisterB 2
I agree. What I'm even more amazed by is that someone so smart and so funny and so aware of the rest of the world can still hold such an archaic attitude. I love him to death (the girlfriend's husband is who I'm talking about here) but on those 2 issues he's really an idiot but thinks he has good reasons why he's right. Hey look, I found Renae!Matty Butts, you're an idiot and I don't hate you for it.cantankerous is more often the adjective to describe me. I'm just not that funny to you, and pretty much everyone else for that matter. I'm working on it though, and I've devised a chart to improve my idiocy and lack of humoricy exponentially.hearts
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Landmark day in the thread. I just got back from the gym and pop on the tv. mk 11
i probably should've called in sick today. i pumped myself full of drugs immediately after getting home from work yesterday and slept from 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m...but i had this crappy position waiting for me and a snowstorm to fight through. wouldn't want to let dog down. Dogpatch 2
I had a conversation with my girlfriend a few days ago. Her: Did we miss House last week?Me: Yeah, and it was a new one. Her: What the fuck?Me: I mean...I'm pretty sure we can guess what it was about. Her: I'm thinking there was a patient nobody could diagnose, House was a ****, and then something completely unrelated caused him to figure out the cure.Me: Fuck law school, you should have been a writer.True story.^^^^Exactly why I stopped watching House. Or stopped worrying about missing it anyway. If I'm home and not doing anything, I'll still watch it. House still says some funny shit every now and then.

speedz99 145
Hey speedz, I bet I jerked it more times than you in the last 24 hours. You probably have me beat (pun). I've been as lazy as a [insert race] lately (simile), and as usual I'm a bear (metaphor) until around 3:00 in the afternoon. That doesn't give me much time to flog the dolphin (imagery) even though I'm the most efficient man in the world (hyperbole) when it comes to a little slippity slappity (onomatopoeia). Another problem is that I have to wait for my disapproving cat (anthropomorphism) to be in the other room before choking the chicken (alliteration).Anyways, I've jerked it twice in the last 24 hours. You?
leftygolfer 7
what wineries are you planning on hitting up on your honeymoon. I'm thinking about going there and sonoma county in august, but I have no clue as to what places to hit up(other then me knowing that I have to hit up kosta browne and get as many of their pinots as possible)not sure yet. I would like to go to Freemark Abbey, Chateau Montlena and Dominus for sure. That kosta browne looks interesting, a cult Pinot?Man. They sure do. CW? I need a picture of you doing math. Preferably with an abacus.and wearing a hat like this:or

speedz99 145
Did you just compare people who go to church to Klan members?Really?1. All Klansmen are also Christians2. Christians are master haters (they just do it under the pretense of trying to "save" people)Obviously this is a vocal minority in a huge religion, but it makes the comparison a little less ridiculous than it looks. MisterB 2
I really really do hate snow. Weve been lucky in CT to really have none to speak of, that will change today when we get 1-3" which means my hour commute will become a 2 hour commute. But since my boss flew to Arizona today I get to leave pretty much whenever I want which under normal circumstances would mean that Id be on my way to foxwoods right now but yours truly decided to leave his cash and wallet at home. Ahhh the joys of an eventful lifeand oh yeah Chris suck a jib
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Did you just compare people who go to church to Klan members?Really?Yeah. Kinda. Renae sorta did as well. Saying she doesn't judge her Christian friends, so why judge her ignorant, hate mongering ones.I found it odd.Believing in fairy tales is ok by me if thats what gets you through the day.
