So the town of Whistler got it's internet back finally, been out since Friday, and so I am able to spend the last hour at work catching up instead of doing real work playing solitaire.

Say the word, I'd definitely be down for a Sick trip to Vegas. Nothing major, just a few days of drinking and partying with the boys and girls, bits of poker thrown in for colour. If we could even get 5 of us out there I'd be thrilled with it.

I am interested; the Queen learned that a bunch of my married poker buddies all went to Vegas last weekend, and was very upset that we weren't going. My response, "you'd... want.... to go to Vegas???"

I'm pretty sure this answers your own question. I'm not positive that it's easier to make money playing tournaments than a cash game for a good cash game player, but it sure is for me.

Speaking of Vegas trips, I want your input on my possible Spring Break Trips:1. Key West. Pretty typical SB, you know the deal.2. Fly to Denver on Thursday, I know a couple guys who graduated last year and are very successful ski instructors at Vail. Go skiing Friday-Tuesday, obviously going out every night. It's good because I can stay at their place and they can hook me up with ski rentals and lift passes, so the only expenses would be the flight, food, and I'd probably be buying the majority of the drinks. Then on Wednesday, a bunch of my friends are going to Vegas, so I could fly out there and meet up with them in Vegas from Wednesday-Sunday. I haven't thought it out any further than that. I'm leaning toward option 2, simply to take advantage of the pretty much free skiing, and then a Vegas trip thrown in there. However, I'm going to Europe for 6 weeks about a month after SB, and need the $5,000 I have set aside for that. Going to Vegas I could potentially lose quite a bit of that, which would not be good. My parents are paying for SB, but not gambling money, so it's coming out of that amount.Go Colts.

I can say with some decent certainty that I'll be going this summer during the Series, and if I'm going to do that then I may as well do it while some FCP'ers will be in town. Maybe go shoot some cats with Beans while I'm out there, who knows?...I don't know if I'll have enough time! I'm calling it part of my bachelor party, I know I can get at least one of my buddies to go out with me on minimal notice, especially during the series. If some Sickies want to talk about going as well, I think it'd be a great time.
