Not a whole lot to catch up on. Thread has been kind of quiet this weekend. So …………. here is my weekend update. Friday night I went to a haunted corn maze with my daughter, Fred and his kids. Had a good time. Saturday after much thought and consideration I decided to cancel my plans to go to the comedy club with Guy #2. It was obvious by how he reacted that he knew he was getting the brush off. I was genuinely bummed out after that and spent the night home with my daughter watching movies. Sunday morning he called me and asked what was going on. I told him I wasn’t really wanting a serious relationship with him right now and I didn’t know if I ever would and I didn’t want to lead him on. He said he understood and he would be willing to just “date” if I was. He said he really had a good time with me and he didn’t want me to feel any pressure from him. Although only time will tell if he is really Ok with us just dating (without a commitment), I decided to give it a shot. He’s a big boy and I’ve been honest with him about how I feel. I’m really not sure how this will work out, but I think I’d be dumb to say no. Not giving a guy that I do like a chance, because of a guy that I can’t be with anyway right now, would just be dumb. As long as I am being honest with them both I don’t think I should feel guilty about it. We’ll just have to wait and see.As a side note, Alex (Guy #1) called me twice on Saturday and wants me to pick a time during his semester break in December and January when I can come see him in Berkley for a few days. I told him I’d figure it out this week and purchase my airplane tickets. I’m thinking if things with Guy #2 do suddenly get more serious, I can cancel the tickets and get credit for a future trip. All in all I think it’s a safe plan.

fast forward to 3 months from now.Guy #2 was really mad at me and called me a cock tease this weekend after he took me out for the 5th consecutive weekend and I smacked him when he tried to stick his hand down my pants. I don't know why he keeps trying to stick it in me. I've made it perfectly clear that I don't wanna bang him, just be his buddy. I don't know why guys think that 14 dinners, 100 drinks,4 comedy shows, 6 movies, babysitter money, an alternater for my car, a Netflix membership and a Thomas Kincade painting entitles them to some play. Some guys just don't get it. I'm through with men. Until guy number 16 fills up is Harley. (which I financed)

You bring up a valid point, but I've never said I wasn't attracted to him. My reluctance to sleep with him has not been brought on by lack of interest, but because I didn't think it was the right thing to do while I was still trying to decide if i was even going to continue dating him. I still haven't made the choice yet, but I don;t feel as pressured to do so now. He says he understands how I feel about it.
