The were completely nuts due to the fact the germans shot them both in the back of the head in a concentration camp, and they both lived. They had 2 kids that became doctors at John Hopkins medical center. They didn't like me for most of the summer but I finally won them over. Jobs are easier than poker.I think my "secrets" are to 6-table, play low limits (never above 3/6, and a lot of 1/2-2/4), always be clearing tons of boni (at least 2/3 of my income is bonus/RB).basically, its very low-stress. add in being pantsless and its a super-easy job.it is tough some days because its so beautiful outside, for instance today i'm going to take Nicholas Nickleby down to the Jazz Festival, then spend some time in the Public Gardens (paging the smugtrometer).i dunno, i just make it as low stress as possible, generally by doing the above. also, i try to get in a nerve-reducing jerk before i start playing, and i usually just play from 3-8 or so and try to have plans in the evening.i've only been doing it a couple months and i'm starting to burn out. other than making money, it just has so little long-term value that it can be hard to get into.to repeat, i think the key is bonuses. playing 1/2-3/6, and bonuswhoring efficiently for 30-40 hours a week of 6-tabling and you're looking at close to $4K a month just in bonuses/rakeback. when a horrible day is losing $300 at poker, and you're making $1000 a week, its hard to get too stressed.also, we should start posting LHE hands in here. i'm instantly convinced all the Sickersons will be enthralled by LHE discussion.Probably, the Northeast is going to be insane this season.
