If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

and after 3 days, he is risen!

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

I enjoyed the witty repartee in here tonight. I just want to throw out there the fact that I am pantless. I'm just saying.
No offense, but our evenings together just aren't the same without a 3-way strip show.

Anyways, his name was Hopper.
You're really Bill Simmons, aren't you?Now it all makes sense...
Oh hell no. Back to keyboard discussion.I actually don't mind mine too much, but I HATE not having a keypad; reminds of trying to use Excel without a scroll mouse; I don't understand how I ever did it.
You guys are trying to expose my inner nerd, aren't you? As someone who uses Excel everyday, let me tell you: if you're using a mouse, you don't know how to use Excel.
One of my bosses at my old firm used to do everything in Excel by keyboard, never using her mouse. She was really quick with it too. It was quite amazing in a totally uninteresting kind of way.
Now that chick knew how to use Excel.
see yall in a while. I fly to mississippi today. God bless you all and good luck in life
Be safe Andi. Godspeed.

I'm pissed as hell......fckintouo 68s did not hi he flop and called my all in, caught runners....It's so nuts and I am so pissed offf..................
Yeah, I don't remember the screenname but I took an ugly beat for most of my chips too. Limped with QJos and my BB raised it about 3x, called the raise. Flop comes J high, all spades, and I have the Q of spades. I check, my BB inst-pushes for about 3500 into an 800 pot. This reeks of weakness to me, so I make the tough call believing I'm way ahead. He turns over KQos with the K of spades, turn is a blank, river is the 4th spade giving him the 8000 chip pot and leaving me with about 1800. I was gone 3 hands later, AJ sooooooted against QQ all in preflop. Like I would ever hit a hand when I start out behind or anything. So I got two phone calls last night, one right after the other. The first one was very good news, it was my friend calling me to advise that he expected the house closing to take place by the end of next week. Kind of amazing when you consider that I only signed the contract and accepted the offer last week. I guess that's what happens when you sell your house to an amateur realtor/professional mortgage broker. Good news there. The next call, about 5 minutes later, was from my Mother, calling to let me know that our family dog has liver failure and will have to be put to sleep this weekend. Pretty much killed any euphoria I was feeling about the house, Riley has been with us for 13 years and is very much a full member of the family. Gotta do what you gotta do though, you don't want your friends to suffer needlessly if there's nothing that can be done. We're told that this is not a pleasant way to go and he will decline pretty quickly. Very sad, I'm going over to their house tonight to say goodbye. Anyway, that's what's going on in Adamland right now.

That's a real shame. I know how you feel because I grew up my entire life with two cats. I was in the room when the first was put down, that was distressing as I was only about 12 years old. But it was worse when the second was put down; he was my favourite, and no one even told me before they did it. I just came home one day and he was gone. It's really good that you're going to say goodbye, and even though he's just an animal it will mean a lot to him.Good luck with the house by the way, I'm moving soon as well and it's pretty exciting.

Yeah, I've been through this with my own dog once before, my dog Foley developed canine lymphoma (cancer) a couple of years ago and I had to have him put down. Held him in my arms in the doctors office as he was given the shot, that was easily the worst day of my entire life thusfar. I was 27 years old and I cried like a baby that day and the day I found out there was nothing that could be done. Thanks, I'm excited about the house deal. With the greatly reduced expenses I'll be able to contribute financially to the wedding, and maybe I won't feel like such a freeloader every time I open my mouth about something I'd like to be included.

You give your pets such cute American names. Ours were called Sophie and Spike, pretty standard stuff. Next time I get a pet I want to call it something interesting though, rather than the typical Fluffy or Fido.

Since we're on sappy dog stories might as well throw mine in too... My dog had diabetes at a young age, around 6 years old. She went blind and it was very difficult to watch. A couple days after she lost her vision we were ready to put her down when suddenly she started running laps around the house like she had a map in her head, it was crazy.Long story short, we gave her 2 shots of insulin everyday for the next 2 years of her life when we decided she wasn't happy anymore and put her down. I was in college at residence when I got the call that she was put down. It's weird how pets become part of the family.Anyhow her name was Casey and I now have a new one (8 months old) named Nola.

My family isn't much for using typical pet names:Cats over the years - Winston, Spitz, Sadie, Otto, SebastianDogs - Higgins, RileyMy pets:Dogs - Foley and Shadow (I didn't name Shadow, not my fault)Cats - Hunter, Murphy, Deuce, Pippin (I named them all, Pippin has 7 toes on each front paw, hence the Hobbit name).

That's a nice story. I don't really have any stories about my cats... once Sophie had to have one of those medical cones around her head, that was quite amusing. When Spike got old we had to get him a litter tray and housetrain him again, it was nasty. The rule seemed to be give them a few months once they can't clean themselves anymore, and when the smell gets really bad send them to be put down.
