brvheart 1,751
It's extremely frustrating and with every day that passes my anger towards myself for giving into these terorristic demands grow. I'm not even involved and I'm upset that you agreed to that.
InternetExplorer 2,609
I think once I close on my house and get some savings built back up I'm going to start job hunting. I cannot stand my coworkers. I know that's a risk anywhere but at least I'd be making more and hopefully have a better commute situation. Yeah, the commute is a huge deal. I cut about 10 minutes, plus removed some train track crossings, when I moved to my current place. It made my life so much less stressful. My girlfriend is continuing to try to find a condo and quickly running out of time. She has another few months until she actually has to move out. I think her plan hinges on getting a bigger raise in this review cycle and leveraging the expanded budget accordingly. I'm not sure. The only constant is a complete unwillingness to take any of my advice. I genuinely want to see good things happen for her, and this is killing me to watch.
Napa Lite 3,278
Don’t cry for me, Argentina. The thing I keep telling myself to give some comfort is there’s literally been 2-3 houses that have come in the market that I would have toured had I not been under contract and it’s unlikely I would have “won”. SuitedAces21 2,721
And I'm sorry but the LG oled is so far ahead of everything else right now I can't in good conscience not fight you on this. That's how much I care about you. I see them go on sale frequently, too, so don't let the list price scare you off. I think once I close on my house and get some savings built back up I'm going to start job hunting. I cannot stand my coworkers. I know that's a risk anywhere but at least I'd be making more and hopefully have a better commute situation. your passion for the LG tv has renewed my spirit. and i really should go all out for my tv, it's the most important thing in my life. i hear ya man. i hope you can find something better, but don't move just to move.
Napa Lite 3,278
What size tv you looking to get? And I won’t move just to move and I want to have a more than adequate emergency fund, just to be safe. Although talking with the other analyst today and his suspicion is that we might be selling out to another bank soon, so I might not have a choice. Although I wouldn’t be mad if it came with a nice severance or some “stay bonus”. I, personally, don’t think they are looking to sell but he’s known the bank family forever and maybe somebody gave him a heads up.
Essay21 2,385
I’m looking at 55 or 60. I’d go bigger but my set up won’t allow it. I have a two TV set up. One is 50 and the other 46. Looking to replace the 46 incher with something more befitting a man means.

I read that as "Ole LG" the first time glancing through, and I thought " Well, I guess Lady Grey has to be over 30 now, but it's not like she's an old bag yet, and it's a strange time to be bringing her up"
Napa Lite 3,278
We’re selling some branches and the price is somewhat dependent on average account balances and so I’ve been tasked with tracking these daily balances and as part of that I’d been sending my boss a weekly report with a high level summary of how/why balances were changing and this morning I decided to just formula it all out so I just have to copy/paste my daily data dump in. Just as I was finishing up I get CC’d on an email that started from our CFO working it’s way through managers asking if we had any way to tell why balances were changing and I’m like “yeah, just give me a few minutes” and boom, it was done and now these managers have to recognize my skill and forward thinking.
Theraflu 1,035
Good for them to know right as you get bought out and get a whole new set of regional managers.

Napa Lite 3,278
Because people opened and closed accounts as well as spent their money and also we moved a lot of accounts out of those branches for the customers we wanted to keep. Nothing untoward, just wanted it quantified.

Essay21 2,385
Working from home today. At the car wash right now getting “the works” for my baby. She was just filthy and in need of a good scrubbing, inside and out. Well worth the cost.
Napa Lite 3,278
Ive been dreaming of a new car lately. Nothings wrong with my car and I’m trying to buy a house so I can’t really justify it, but it’s fun to imagine.
SuitedAces21 2,721
i dont recall what kind of car you're driving. but take a look at the new mustang. thing is sexy as hell.
Napa Lite 3,278
2011 Chevy impala. Nothing fancy. Getting up there in miles though, especially driving 200+ miles a week for work. I do like the remote start from my phone though. Super clutch in the winter.
Napa Lite 3,278
As I prepare for possibly owning a house I’m looking into a shed because I’ll need one. Too bad Tilty (#RIP) isn’t here to offer some guidance and to try and sell me a shed on credit. Although as I type that I remembered he got fired for getting cancer which was a pretty shit move. Hope he’s doing bigger and better things now.

I do like the remote start from my phone though. Super clutch in the winter. You’re saying clutch here, but I thought impalas were automatic I, too, drive a 2011 vehicle. Been passively looking at stuff. Literally nothing wrong with my car, only 85k miles on it. I am spendy.
Essay21 2,385
Do you have 20 inch blades on the impala? Yeah my car has 40k in miles and is a 2015 and I look often at getting a new one just cause I’m bored. I probably won’t do it though.
Napa Lite 3,278
I meant the remote start app was “clutch”. Not that I have a super clutch for winter. The car is automatic. I’m almost positive I would destroy a clutch in this stop and go traffic If I had a manual car.

brvheart 1,751
2011 Chevy impala. I love Impalas. Tons of room, well built, very good choice. Is it really? That's a strange ringtone. Yes it is. I would guess that 98% of the time my phone is on vibrate, but I'll turn it on when I'm amongst friends and everyone is always happy to hear it. I'm just very afraid that one day it will go off in church, which would be my biggest fear. However, like I said, it's nearly always on vibrate.
