Wow does it feel good to have that no longer hanging over my head. As a life long Cubs fan this feels great. I'm walking on clouds today.

BigDMcGee 3,355
I'm kind of bitter, as I'd have loved this so much 15-20 years ago. These days, I watch next to no baseball, and don't care about it. So now, after my love is dead, do the cubs win. I am really happy for cubs fans, who still care the way I used to, and Chicago in general. And though my love is dead, my hate is not, so knowing this pissed off Cardinals fans is great. I will say, watching in the playoffs has been nostalgic, something I almost never do, and playoff baseball is as exciting as regular season is unwatchable. The game 7 itself was incredible, the 8th inning twinged on a nerve I thought was dead, and I became emotionally invested for the first time in ages. That said, I won't watch a single regular season baseball game next season, unless I'm at the park.

Tiltinagain 973
One of the great things here in Nor Cal is that there are these Mexican ladies that make tamales during the holidays. I always seem to find them advertising on Facebook around now. Do any of you have this in your area? Ronnie for sure I would think? Anyway, earlier this week I found a FB page advertising tamales and some of my neighbors were ordering. Pork, Chicken or Cheese and Jalapeno for $15 a dozen so I ordered a dozen each of the pork and chicken and a half dozen of the cheese and picked them up this afternoon. Made homemade Mexican rice and pinto beans to go along with them and the family was going on and on about it being the best dinner we've had in a long time. Only regret is that I couldn't eat more. Plenty of leftovers though.

With a different cuisine?

Ron_Mexico 4,219
I used to live in South Florida. I currently live in North Orlando. South Florida was the consummate melting pot of the Caribbean and South America. There were plenty of Mexicans, but they weren't the most prevalent. Guatemalans, tons of Puerto Rican's, and of course the more South you went, the more Cubans you ran into When I was worked in the Latin night club, the "nice" one, there were tons of Colombians, Dominicans and Venezuelans. Plus the large, concentrated population of Haitians. We had everything, and that was in Palm Beach County, ah hour north of Miami What's funnier was, they all thought that they were top of the Latino food chain and better than the others. I've rambled.

I was at the bar last night and this girl wanted to take a selfie and so we did and I look just awful. I basically took the 2nd half of October off from working out and it's showing. Also my skin is horrendous.

I would like to, though. Maybe BigD can point me in the right direction.

Also my skin is horrendous. One of my favorite hobbies is whenever I'm tagged in a photo with someone, I accuse the person of using filters or choosing from a variety of shots in order to make me look worse and them look better. Also, an alternative to skincare and excercize is to find a darker bar to frequent. Not only will you look better, but uglier women will seem more appealing to you. It's a little like getting drunk, but is photography-persistent.
