Napa Lite 3,278
Yeah, I got that it was an adjective, not a verb. I just wanted to play off it to tell my ostrich story. They were right next to the barrier, too. It was great.
CobaltBlue 662
We did however see some turtles knocking shells. Only the 12 year old boy and I truly appreciated that one I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWYfX7F1fKU
brvheart 1,753
I'm not saying that they should have paid Tilt someone else's commissions. I'm saying they should keep him employed (unpaid) and his job available to him until he isn't sick or quits. I've never worked for a company (and I've only worked for small companies; other than Bridgestone/Firestone) that would have done that to a sick employee.
Essay21 2,385
One would assume that tilt's employment terms allowed them to do this. Seems unlikely they'd open themselves to a lawsuit to save a little cash up front.

I've never worked for a company (and I've only worked for small companies; other than Bridgestone/Firestone) that would have done that to a sick employee. I definitely get it and I have to say I was really surprised that they weren't more compassionate and accommodating. They did send me a really complimentary letter detailing what a great employee I was. One would assume that tilt's employment terms allowed them to do this. Seems unlikely they'd open themselves to a lawsuit to save a little cash up front. The law only requires (if subject to FMLA) for any company to hold your position for 12 weeks. This ain't fricken France.

Theraflu 1,035
I think that might be a deal? I think my wife's first c-section ran me about 100k, and that was only 4 or 5 nights. The next baby is coming next Wednesday, so I'll get an updated bill soon. But first, Chance on Thursday night.

CobaltBlue 662
I'ma need to see a definition on Quality of Life. Also strange that they say 100 and list 15. Also weird that they don't list anything in Florida.
brvheart 1,753
i dont know, you can get 10 sheds for that. I think we hate the shed industry right now. Let's preemptively get back on the payday loan bandwagon.
