I'm not saying that they should have paid Tilt someone else's commissions. I'm saying they should keep him employed (unpaid) and his job available to him until he isn't sick or quits. I've never worked for a company (and I've only worked for small companies; other than Bridgestone/Firestone) that would have done that to a sick employee.

I definitely get it and I have to say I was really surprised that they weren't more compassionate and accommodating. They did send me a really complimentary letter detailing what a great employee I was.
