I sat 1-3 (without seeing chris) and had a 20% chance of being at his friend's table (who I did not know), which would have made for amazing shenanigans with chris feeding him things to say to me, but it didn't happen.we went to chick-fill-a after. chris was talking about some of the hands at his table. basically, he is a nightmare to play with, and it's interesting to hear about him doing it to strangers. he plays extremely loose and gets himself into a ton of tough decisions, but he's so accustomed to it that it works out. me, I'm more like a hole in the table that chips occasionally fall into. today, I was thinking about the money I made at poker when I was still in school. I sacrificed so much grades-wise for that profit, and I spent it on literally the most senseless shit. I'm the complete opposite now... not really interested in putting in the time to get better at poker, thinking more about going back to school, jewiest jew that ever jewed.

I don't know I paid something at the office, and I'm pretty sure she said that was the copay. and what I got is definitely a bill saying how much I owe. it even details how much my insurance actually paid (not much) out of the whole amount. one of the things they always sell us when we bitch about how much we make at my company is "hey but you've got great benefits!" yeah well fuck you you fucking fuck. fifty percent fucking copay ain't great.

yeah I'm just gonna take it in tomorrow and re-read my account stuff. wishing tony the best here, but I mean, you know, he's one of those guys you look at and go "shit, how is that guy alive?" which is pretty much my goal by the time I'm 50. think I'm pretty well on my way as it is actually.god damn sleeping pills ain't worth a communications degree. fell asleep at 8 trying to catch up from the night before and woke right back up at 11. then woke up again at 1, then again at 3, and that was all she wrote. luckily it looks like I worked something like 30 hours of overtime from my last paycheck so I might actually be able to afford the doctor visit an subsequent horse tranquilizers that he's going to have to prescribe. That things a necessity for me cause my boss constantly just starts randomly talking to me from his cube and I have to be able to pause AT ALL TIMES.

I think apple's stuff is objectively better, but not better enough to go with an entry level macbook for $900 over a similarly spec'd business class lenovo for $300. that's exactly the proposition I saw when I was shopping for my parents pre-christmas.however, there is nothing on the market today that compares to the latest gen ipod touch for $170 or whatever the black friday price was. it is basically a smart phone without a 3g radio that carries no monthly fees. I don't know what the ipad's competition is but I like the idea that apple came in low at $500 and everyone insta-mucked higher price points.
