Hard to describe... venison has very little fat content so it tends to stick to the grill....I just flipped it a few times and shoveled it out. I'm sure you know this but it helps if the grill is VERY hot and I brush some oil on the meat before placing on the grill which also helps. My problem at the moment is this: I like Hal (the friend of the ex-boyfriend) quite a bit. We're becoming better friends every day. If I use Hal to get to Colby, I'm a scumbag. To get to Colby, I need to use Hal.The information I have so far on Colby -- house location, car make/model, employment -- is all a direct result of my relationship with Hal, and everything that happens from here is fruit of the poisonous tree. Hal doesn't know what I'm planning, and he's not complicit in any way, nor will he be implicated, but... it somehow feels abusive. At this point, assuming I can get over this little ethical issue, the plan is as follows:1) Stake out Colby's place. Learn his routine, etc., specifically looking for a 3-hour, after-dark window during which he will be gone. 2) Enter his home undetected. 3) Destroy all his homemade DVDs.4) If I can gain access to his computer(s), incinerate all video files. If it is password protected -- or if I am uncertain that the job was done correctly -- destroy the computer.5) Leave an anonymous note explaining what happened, and the consequences if I ever find out he has backups. 6) Search his house/computer for something personal with which to ensure compliance. An address book, drugs, names, whatever; anything that he doesn't want someone to have or know. 7) Send J-Bone by the next day to make sure the message was delivered. I might just send J-Bone in my stead, in order to ensure that Jenny is further insulated. If I send J-Bone, I can make sure I'm alibied -- the perfect situation would be hanging out with Hal, I suppose -- but I want to make sure the job gets done, and this is a pretty low-risk situation. At this point, I'm acting as a Pragmatist and not as a Justicar, but that might change.

When I was about 23 I was managing a bar, heavy metal bands, but still halfway nice. Anyway, there was girl that came in a few times that I had seen around before that I was dying to meet, (screw like mad). Great looking and fantastic body, so yeah, out of my league. She was at the bar and I wooed her with my witty repartie and smooth conversation, along with a half dozen Gin and dash of tonics. I ended up taking her home and luckily she must not have remembered alot because she agreed to see me again. Where was I? Oh yeah, (snicker), so she found a couple porn tapes, (vcr type, the rest of the collection was in my closet), and got excited and asked to watch! In that conversation, J should very nicely and firmly inform the guy that he will hand over the DVD, any copies, and let J watch while he deletes all his video files. J should also inform the guy that he obviously knows a lot about him, and has eyes on him that he will never know about, so he will find out if he did in fact keep any version of the video, and that would not end well.

I'm not saying they're going to go all CSI to catch you, but yeah, if you steal/destroy his DVDs and have to destroy his computer, he may very well call the cops to at least put in an insurance claim on that shit. But that's not even my point...you're not ****ing Dexter here, and random shit can happen, so it's very possible for a neighbor to see you break in, to notice lights are on and someone's rummaging around, to see flashlights, etc., or for the guy or someone else to happen to come home early and catch you in the act. Not. Worth. It. Just send J-Bone over for a pleasant chat, no overt threats, and have him collect everything you need while scaring the living shit out of the guy, which is really half the point anyway. Stealing his shit while he's out doesn't punish him as much as having him piss his pants in broad daylight. i get that. and if he feels that anyone else seeing it would be a terrible thing, then get it and destroy it. i'm just not sure it will make him feel better. she still did it. you'll always know she did. and so will the other guy. you know she's been dicked down before you, just because you destroy the video evidence doesnt mean it never happened. but i get it. you want some revenge. you want some closure for her on this thing. then get it. or dont. i dont know anymore.
