and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

My sister and I just ate soup with bread rolls followed by fresh baked cookies. I am so full I almost feel sick. BUT, apparantly my dad is expecting us for a 3 course meal which his girlfriend has made herself... We thought we were just popping by for dessert. If I try to eat any more I may barf, but my Englishness tells me to be polite and eat as much as I can otherwise dad and his woman will be offended. My cookies were so lush though: White chocolate, sour cherry and macadamia. Just a little undercooked (deliberately) so they're chewy but crisp, not crunchy. Yummmm.

This little interlude happened yesterday, and may not be interesting at all, but for some reason I think it must be because I keep replaying it in my head. As I'm leaving the building, guy with thick Russian accent is coming in. Russian: I'm looking for Doctor G. vb: Yes, ok, he's in another building, I can take you there. <walking> Russian: I am anesthesiologist!vb: Ah!Russian: You are scientist? vb: Yes!Russian: You look like scientist. vb: Thanks!....?Russian: I am anesthesiologist fifty years!vb: Ah!Russian: Fifty years!vb: !Russian: Fifty years is enough?vb: Is it? <arrive at destination>

certainly not. only wanted to invoke thoughts of our hero uttering phrases such as "YEAH, that is a good-lookin SANDWICH"
Just think how good it would look with a short haircut.
I don't really have anything to add except a heartfelt, Thanks!

Just got back from KFC. sighz. Here in Canada we don't get the Double-D. Instead we got the "Big Fresh". It appears to actually be HEALTHIER than the regular sandwich.Epic disappointment, especially since the drug store wouldn't let me return the Rolaids I bought.

I am more curious than anything and I have been advised to cut down on my carb intake.....so a breadless sandwich seems apropos, no?
Uh no. that's got to be shittier than an amish funeral procession.
Yeah, this is great, and I hope the government eases up a bit to allow more of this research to go on. The course of my life was definitely influenced in a positive direction by psilocybin. It's a shame for something with that kind of potential to be taboo in our culture, and its too bad it has the reputation that it does.
I'm sure i've done more acid than than everyone here combined and thusly approve of this study and am not surprised of the positive results.
it's got a little something for everyone
Yes, yes it does!

The double down is good not great. Fairly difficult to eat and you can just feel the "sauce" killing your heart. The chicken bread is delicious though and bacon is bacon.I give it a B.

Sure does!Alternatively: I'll say!
The friend that I have the Celtics tickets with got married at Fenway on Saturday. It was a pretty good time, with the lone exception being the Fenway alcohol prices.
Was the ceremony on the field? Where was the reception? How much does something like that cost? You really had to pay $8 for watered-down beers at a wedding?Sorry, that's too many questions, so I'll make a comment: I love the fact that they now sell Narraganset.

I enjoyed this. Is he right? Do you look like scientist?

I feel like you can give a more in-depth review than that. Just saying, I expect more from you now that you're barred.
You know what gets my dick hard?

Russian: I am skeleton jelly!vb: Well met!
this was annoying to do on the touch
You know what gets my dick hard?Checking the site I would allegedly use to download tv torrents and seeing that a favorite series of mine is on a new season (The Tudors)
the first two episodes of the new season leaked a month ago maybe. I watched them but do not remember much. oh, I remember now

That is unlikely sir.
OH no sir, it is not. I have switched to a new persona for the sole purpose of plausible deniability now that we a have one of those shiester lawyers hanging around. And well, there are probably just too many stories that I couldn't tell under my real name.Around 1980 I had a childhood friend that had some pretty major connections. I had always dealt a little to help cover the costs of any drugs I wanted to uhh, play around with and knew lots of people so when we hooked up I started my own little biz network and was moving around 5000 hits a week. Being somewhat sensible about it, if that's possible, these shipments wouldn't be in my possession more than a few hours and went to 4 different, uh, franchises. I bought my second car and a good portion of my college tuition doing this. Ironically at this point I had done most every drug but didn't mess with them aside from an occasional joint. I really had lost my taste for pot as well.I had been fond of cid since doing it in high school in about '76. I had a couple good friends that I usually had as the base for a party while doing it since we were familiar with the effects and could have alot more fun with it. But, I had done it in school, work, dates, a prom, etc. I got pulled over lost once in the country and got a police to escort me to gas station with a coupld hundred hits under my seat.I've seen Santa driving a tractor down the middle of a suburban highway at 3 in the morning doing acid. I haven't done it in many years, probably 25 but the memories are like yesterday. Acid increases awareness dramatically and people that tend to like themselves do alot better with it. People that can't handle their own humanity usually don't. They tend to freak realizing they are fat, obnoxious, stupid, insecure etc., and tend to loose it alot more easily. And with anything, what goes up, most come down. Too many people love the upside, but can't handle coming down; then again who does? The dumbest thing I ever did with it, and possibly one of the funniest was going to a frat party I was invited. I took a party buddy of mine that wasn't college material but tons of fun. It was super lame and everyone was trying to talk me into rushing or whatever you call it. No one was really partying other than a garbage can of hooch and some jello shots. I took a tray of the jello shots and dosed them and passed them out to about 20 people. When we left they were all in one room singing Kumbayah. Parents weren't aware of much going on with drugs in my day and I had plenty of experience with most everything. I had grown up in a bar and hung around with an older crowd for the most part so I was still pretty young when I figured I had pushed my limit. For the most part I really just lost interest in them. I had my kid young as well so that was another reason I stopped. After so much acid you pretty much get the gist and reach a point where you just don't "need" to do it anymore. The effect and side effects aren't as desirable as they were originally. You also realize that there is nothing that you can think of on acid that you can't think of straight. It isn't magic. But, under the right circumstances it is absolutely one of the funnest things on earth.

Yeah, this is a lot of why I stopped after tripping (acid or shrooms) maybe 6-7 times...also I was nearing graduation and real life was starting to get in the way of being able to trip without any worries hanging over my head.

So, in briefly wondering who "Roll the Bones" is, I was thinking that I know the general age and story about pretty much everyone around here...maybe except vb. I always picture you as in my age bracket, but you might be too successful for that, I'm not sure...I forget if you're a full-fledged professor or more of a researcher and regular guest lecturer. So I'm guessing somewhere in the 27-35 range? But 35 seems too high...I mean, you've got a Beaker in your office.
