and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

Guy I hung out with tonight said he's got a pokerstars program that lets him see the opponents cards, and he' s rakiing the dough. It's a guy I've known for a while, and I think he's telling the truth. Says he gave this guy his info, and they guy with the program gave him the link to it and a bunch of names to use. He collects 20% of the winnings every month, and sends out a check for the rest to each player. My friend said he's been doing it 4 weeks with a check every week. It's extremely disconcerting for me. He said he plays 5-10 NL and just multi tables and doesn't take many risks. Can't see any future cards, just the opponents.
What do you mean a bunch of names to use? Please PM me if you have some facts on this, this really is a big issue. I mean normally I'm going to laugh at this, but I defintely am not one to rule out the possibility.

Everything gambling wise is rigged, can be rigged, or will be rigged sometime in the future....Placing trust in an unregulated offshore "company" with no fear of prosecution is a little riskier to partake in With that being said, Im in too...

He wouldn't give me a link or a name or anything. The details he gave me were enough to concern me. Just said he's loving all the money he's making, and that the guy hasn't failed to pay the weekly check yet, with the 20% taken out. He doesn't know how many others do it, but everything is run through this one guy, and if anyone ever gets suspicious he just logs off and switches screen names.

are you going to pursue it further?also, I'm sure glad I play $5 and $10 sngs/mtts and .25/.50 NLalso, I bet Thera hit him up for either a stake or to pay the drinking billalso also, if you had this system with the cash flowing in, would you blab it to the local bag boy at the bar one night? (bag boy thrown in for comedy, I like Thera)

unless this dude is actually a good player, seems to me like he'd get nailed pretty quickly by the 5/10 players for never allowing them to bluff, never making a wrong call on the river, etc. etc.I mean, spilling the beans to some random friend doesn't show a whole lot of subtlety, is all.

I've known him for 5 years, mainly just through cards. We're not good friends, but I'm not a "random" friend. He's the type of guy who loves pissing people off at the table by playing any two cards and calling anything, so he has stupidly high swings, and mostly just gets off on pissing everyone at the table off. At the same time, he's also a pretty nice guy who is just takes enjoyment out of other people's anger towards him. He used to bring a 2L of pepsi to card games and just get ****ed up on caffeine, and it his mind it worked. He's not the most stable of people, but I don't think he fully realizes what he's doing. What made the claims seem more legit was that he said it was only pokerstars, it was only hole cards (not flop/turn/river future type stuff). Most people that talk about this sort of thing tend to go over the top with how they're cheating. He said he actually plays pretty tight, hole-cards wise, and since he's multi-tabling he's not really analyzing each table and looking to win every hand. I'm skeptical, but while he's always been a bit of an exaggerator, I wouldn't call him a liar. He said he's been keeping all the money in a bag somewhere for now (I know, I know), but he was asking my bank friend about opening up an account soon, so I should have a decent handle on if he's really raking in cash in the next couple weeks. I'll try to pry a bit, but I'm going to go gung-ho over it.And also, I actually did ask him for a stake. He invited me to a 1-2 game thats apparently down the street from me. Said its $100 for first buy in, but $200 for each subsequent one. I don't have $500 to fuck around with, but if this guy does, he's the kind of guy to give me a chance. Supposedly its 3-4 tables and goes from like 8-3 or so, and he took home $2400 last week. Again, I know he exaggerates some and he doesn't remember most of his losses, but I have seen him rack up some huge stacks playing against older people that absolutely despise everything about the way he plays. I enjoy watching it.

The key would be only using the cheating software once in a while and at lower stakes...It would be worthless at the fake nosebleed stakes of courseAlot of advantage to seeing the hole cards, but even with that information there would still be swingsOver my years of playing twenty one Ive ran across more than a few dealers who were either sloppy and showed their hole cards or outright told them to meI still lost a few sessionsOne time in Tunica a black dealer (big surprise) was dealing to myself and a table full of attractive women. I was at third base keeping a running and true count, altering my bet with the total and boozing it up. Yeah, I can count and drink, too. Anyway, during a lull in the small cards coming out I reduced my wager to around twenty or so for a few rounds when this conversation took place...Dealer: "Soooooo....you girls staying here on property?"Cutie: "Nah, just down for the evening"Dealer: "Cool... Douin sum shoppin an spendin the hubbies money, huh? Heh Heh Heh"(Checks under ten for BJ)Dealer: "seven"I didnt catch it at first since years of shooting without a suppressor took its toll on my ears, but needless to say when he turned that seven over I went on point. He kept the information coming for about three hours not counting rotation or breaks. I assisted by asking the pit a question when the slithered behind them so he'd know when they were around. Tips were made in the mens room (in CHECKS Chris) to avoid the pooling policy in that particular casino.Turned out it was his last day there before heading to Vegas. I still wish Id gotten contact infoAnother time the wife could catch the hole card every time when nobody was playing first or second base and the dealer pulled the shoe toward the center of the table. Shes substantially shorter than me and whispered the total before I acted. That time I didnt care about getting heat so I pulled some pretty outlandish stunts like hitting a nineteen against her twenty. I either broke even or lost a little that timeIve seen some pretty crazy stuff over the years in the smoke pits, but Ill never forget the new dealer at the Golden Gate who for the life of him couldnt understand what a soft total wasHe paid the table after he busted drawing to a soft nineteenCorona production peaked the next day trying to catch up....

congratulations to everybody for doing things!
Thanks man.
Jimmy JohnsYou're welcome.
Bootlegger with extra mayo. You're welcome.A few years ago me and some friends were out and about during a snowstorm. Among others, I was with friend "A" and friend "B". During the walk to the bars, A threw a snowball at B and nailed him on the back of the neck. B retaliated with a snowball that kind of fell apart in flight and hit A in the chest. "Ok, we're even," said A.Four hours and many beers later, we headed back home. B walked ahead around a corner, and when the rest of us caught up he threw a hard-packed snowball as hard as he could at A from 5 feet away, hitting him right in the forehead. He then pointed at A, who was now flat on his back, and screamed, "NOW WE'RE EVEN!"So that's why the phrase "throwing snowballs after the fact" can be used for any over-the-top retaliation that's made a ridiculously long time after the initial transgression. Proper usage is typically, "What are you, throwing snowballs after the fact?"The end.

Blackjack.
I was in Windsor once, waiting for some friends (I got there 6 hours early to gamble before my friends showed up), and I was at third-base. The female Asian dealer was flashing her down card about half the time, so I immediately started drinking heavily and doing outrageous stuff so it wouldn't be suspicious when I started hitting 17s against a 9 and taking insurance. I played for about 3 hours -- she was there for a little over an hour of it -- and near the end I just stopped hiding my shenanigans since my friends were almost there. I think I had 300 Canadian in my pocket when the session started, and ended up cashing out 800, though I head to reach into my pocket for the third hundred. The big swings came when I had 3 hands -- all under 10 -- and she had a face card up. I thought she had a 5 or a 6 down, so I doubled everything and she busted. The pitboss saw that one, so I had to double on 12 the next time she had a paint card up. I made 18 and she had a 20, which I knew, but it seemed to assuage his concerns. I also took insurance at least once when the pit boss was peeping -- and even money on a blackjack -- when I wasn't going to win. I think I could have kept it very subtle for a very long while and not aroused much suspicion, but it would require a pretty solid plan and some patience. The key for me was drinking heavily and doing enough stupid shit to make it seem like I was just getting lucky. I was asked to leave at the end, but I was playing small enough that I don't think they just weren't willing to do anything else.

In the spirit of Easter and the resurrection:I fool at being an anti-semite all the time, but only because I think the notion is so ridiculous. The idea that anyone would hate Jews because they control the banking system and all that is just... so weird to me. I didn't think I knew any real anti-semites, so it was all a funny joke, the serious consequences of which had no bearing on my immediate life.Recently, however, I discovered that an acquaintance of mine is a dead-serious Jew-hater. A few nights ago he lectured me on how the Rothschilds control the Federal Reserve, and have been planning for hundreds of years to run the world by controlling three international banking syndicates. It went on for hours. This guy has a degree in economics from the University of Michigan, and is an otherwise rational human being, but he honestly believes that there's a Jew conspiracy. "You think if I converted I'd get access? No way. It's collusion, plain and simple. Nobody sees it, because they keep a pretty tight grip on the media, too."I'm dead serious. Does anybody else have any experience with this kind of extreme, actual, real, anti-semitism? Speedzie, you got any insight? It was soooooo weird. I finally asked him to leave because I was disgusted, but Jesus-JewMurdered-Christ...

I don't have any real insight...I have some experience with the typical retarded "I hate Jews because they're different from me and I hear that they're cheap/greedy" anti-semitism from white trash and frat boy types, but nothing serious from an otherwise normal and intelligent human being. I find the consipiracy theory stuff pretty amusing in general, and it's a sign that your acquaintance is just very good at hiding the fact that he's got a few screws loose. How'd he take it when you asked him to leave?
Tiger/Phil paring is awesome.
Aye. But I seriously doubt Phil has enough holes left to win it.My friends and I agreed that if we could be any athlete on earth it would be him.
