sometimes, mainly when they spell a name wrong like Phil Lak...i dont mind someone telling them they forgot an "a" but if someone posts something like "eventualy this will....." thats annoying. this a chat forum not English class

I think grammar and spelling corrections are funny when the OP posts some I'm-so-much-better-than-you or online-poker-is-rigged tirade, and the only replies he gets are copy-editing his post. That cracks me up.

Have to agree with Eddie on this one. Its about getting your point accross.Here and experiment.... read the sentence below....'Soemitmes wehn I paritiapte in the froum my speillnig is poor.'As long as the first and last letters are correct and the letters in the middle are more or less in the word then we can scan the correct meaning.Did it work for you?

Well, it does serve some point. I like it when I see it, and do it alot. Sometimes it's asinine (if you're adding a comma or an apostrophe). But when it's a name, or something that indicates some easily-correctable, likely-to-be-repeated grammatical flaw, there's no harm in reading the correction and adding to your life-arsenal.
