Wingmaster05 0
You won,t find it. The dragon stuff is priceless, though. Alot of the stuff in Revelation are dreams, and to analyze or even try to come up with an explanation would just be best guess and for lack of anything else dream analysis, but it's subjective, which religion can never say, tbecause that would imply lack of knowledge.I thought the writer of revelation was trying to speak without the Roman govt understanding what was being said, hence the entire thing is chalk full of symbols to disguise it's meaning
avsfan 0
Fwiw most scholars feel that revelation is not a book that belongs in the bible. From what I understand The Catholic Church struggles internaly about it. Some thing about the writer being a genius mad hermit who lived in a cave under a ancient battlefield know as Armagedon. hmmm???P.s. I am no scholar.

The point is thet it is full of symbolism, and very easy to conjure up ideas with, that are nowhere near the truth. As far as the Roman governement? Bible is for all of humanity, and that includes the Roman governement. Even without Revelations the bible was dangerous enough that Catholics hierarchy had it under lock and key for years- they killed christians for even owning a bible, so the christians fled and hid for a long time. This period of time is known as the Dark Ages. Very D and D but true. The atrocities of catholocism as a whole dwarfs any of any other religion, including Islam.
