pokerplayer24 0
This is a river in which calling and going for an overcall is a whole lot better then raising.
Pancake407 0
I don't like the flop raise personally, but maybe im a little passive with overcards. I like the river raise. I don't see any good reason to go for overcalls in this spot.Im really unsure about calling the river, when its 2 back..I'd love to hear some others thoughts on this. tylerc 0
yeah i dont like the flop raise either. are you going for the free card? as for overcalls i dont think you get many in this situation unless you are against idiots who think any flush might be good. just raise it and get the bet from the original raiser. if you are against a full house then so be it. i think you are ahead more than not and you arent going to get the other player to call down often enough to get a profitable overcall on this kind of board. Actuary 3
flop raise and subsequent call of BB's 3-bet are very light, especially given SB's suspicious calling.
Pancake407 0
hey actuary, what do you think of the river play here? I definately agree with the raise, but what about calling when its 2 back. What do you think?
Zach6668 513
On the river play, how many villains are playing a flopped boat as fast as the BB did here? I think MHIG pretty often, no?- Zach
Pancake407 0
I agree with you, thats why im all for the raise, but what could the SB be check/3-betting with? Also, what is the BB capping with? We have the nut flush, they arent showing any fear of the clubs, that worries me. I'm sure id make the call, but I would expect to lose.

Actuary 3
when action first comes to us on river, we have the nut flush, on a baord that makes little sense to have hit a boat (the kind of little sense you see at .5/1, unfortuneatley), nonetheless the raise is for value, and BB will always call one more. SB's call would be gravy.well SB woke up and BB still likes his handin the end...we're getting 20:2and I call, expecting to lose to a stupid SB slow played 84 sometimes; but not 90% of the time.
