Suggestions??? MP3 was limping with all sorts of stuff (good and bad) but the blinds were calling everything. Which is why i did not raise PF to isolate as it wouldn't have worked and i'd have a bloated pot with QJo, which may already be behind MP3. I did not really want that.

I think I call that river. I have no reasons to justify it though. I'd like to see some more input on this from the others, I hate these situations.
put the others on a range. At best you're getting 9:1 to overcall here.

It was hard to fold preflop because MP3 was limping with everything...i saw a couple 97o's a 35s and also good hands as stated. Seeing all this strange play made last night's session a hard one on me. I believe i tried to change my play to match the table's...to a point that had me outside my own game and i ended up having to quit based on the -30bbs/session rule. My normal stats run a 18%/10%/2.4 and i know i was playing way more hands than that and limping alot more, puttin myself in murky waters far too often.Anyway, in this particular hand the BB showed 22 and MP3 showed AK and i was murdered from both sides.

i think you played it fine. who the hell folds preflop here on the button with qj off? seems awfully tight to me. i would probably have raised knowing that the other players are so loose, but i think calling is fine as well.

Uh.. it's QJo... it's quite a weak hand.- Zach

I probably fold preflop. swOther than that, it's good.- Zach
FYPBroadway connectors on the button in a limped pot, and most likely 4-handed? You fold here?

If you can find a 3/6 table passive enough, then ok. Most 3/6 tables are too aggressive, IMO. This may be a good opportunity to play it though, if we know the blinds won't raise.- Zach

Party, but I'll back away because I've only got 4500 hands logged at 3/6, therefore not enough experience to truly comment on the tables, and it's been a while since I've played 3/6, and I could be very wrong.- ZachFWIW, my VP$IP with QJo is about 50% over 30K hands, so I don't always fold. I've been tightening up a lot more lately though, as the tables are tighter too, and this includes .5/1 which is noteably looser, and that way QJo can be more profitable. 42% in 19K hands when I use just 2/4 and up (14K at 2/4, 4500 at 3/6, and 600 hands at 5/10).

how do you filter by stakes? i cant find it in the filter popup. im a little drunk right now so excuse me if this is a stupid question.
Go to the preferences tab, in the same area that you would find "general info", "session notes", "game notes", etc...

ok so i dont know if this is very useful but i have about 15k hands 4 tabling 3/6 from about 5 months ago, and im at about .19 bb/hand with QJo in late position. that being said i have 59 vp$ip, when im not in late position it drops to about 31. take that for what its worth, but i would always play this hand in late postion if its unraised and if im the first in or have the chance to go hu against a weak player im going to raise it up myself. this probably isnt enough hands to analyse something like this but thats all ive got. ive got about 50k in stats for 2/4 about seven months ago when i was 8 tabling and it actually drops down to .06 bb/hand with about the same vp$ip. these stats are pobably less useful because i wasnt paying any attention to the players involved.

I changed my mind.I'm limping this from LP in an unraised pot quite often.I'm not sure what I was thinking. I'm probably not raising it though, unless I'm first in, in MP3 or later.- ZachBTW - I get 0.18 bb/hand at 2/4, 3/6, 5/10, 19K hands total, 182 instances of QJo

sweet, i changed someones mind in my first day of serious posting. i guess i can quit now and slip off into forum oblivion. on another note if anyone is paying attention over a long period of time, folding hands like this will give you a serious rock label, and the tags might start making more moves on you. this isnt something to really worry about at 3/6 but its still something to think about when playing against the more observant opponents over long periods of time.

I'm not sure what I was talking about up there. I will usually play this hand in LP... I'm a bit rusty, haven't been playing much lately.Btw, stick around. The more the merrier on here. Keep me busy on boring days... lol- Zach
