PoppinFresh 0
I play it the same, the river call is probably -EV but good for information.
Verdimme 0
He limps UTG so he is probably a bad player. I would call that river too for future information.
pokerkid 0
Why is c/c better than b/f here?
Actuary 3
Why is c/c better than b/f here?you beat more hands he bets with, than calls.that is, you are less of an underdog when he bets, than calls.once he bets, you are an underdog.just like if he calls.and...you get a read this way

Pancake407 0
If he called a bet on the turn with a pair, he will call a bet on the river with a pair. You really dont have much FE here.I imagine the river call was info only.

You really dont have much FE here.I imagine the river call was info only.Even if we don't have 'much' FE here, if it's going to cost us the same (I doubt he raises the river here) to get a read on him. Why not take a last ditch effort at stealing the pot if betting costs us the same exact thing as c/c?I know i'm assuming he doesn't raise the river here, but I don't see a call, call, raise line very often. Pancake407 0
Your right, but another good thing about checking here, is that we may get a free showdown, and not cost ourselves anything.
