RonBurgundy 0
i keep running into the same scenario, and ive done it both ways. KQo UTG in micro-limit. Raise or just limp? I know it can vary on quality of other players and such. Just want a little outlook on wat u fellas do?
Vade 0
KQo is a raising hand, if the pot is unraised.KQ makes only nut straights. KQ will hit on the flop as often as AK and AQ, and those are obvious raising hands.Actually, KQ is one of the few hands worth calling two cold with (AQ and AJ are the others)
RonBurgundy 0
how bout 10 10 on the button?
eniven 0
Would you three bet AK in the micro limits? Or just call two cold?

bmwguy525 0
KQ is one of the few hands worth calling two cold with...Hahahaha.I'm sure just about every pro would punch you for saying that. If it's been raised twice, guess what. Someone either has high pockets, AQ, or AK. Even mid pockets has your ass kicked. If you can raise from behind with limpers, give it a shot. I wouldn't recommend cold calling two bets......

I'm kind of surprised no one has really suggested this yet, but I fold this UTG. Having to call any raises with this hand would make me quite unhappy and I'm first to act out of 9 (or 10) players. This ones going into the muck for me. Though I will admit that I might splash around with it in microlimits (like really, really micro) just because people are more likely to play complete crap there.
akishore 0
to eddie:KQ does make nut straights. the common sense assumption is that neither the K or the Q is forefeited on the board. that's why they say JTs is the best suited connector since it makes only nut straights (broadway down to J-high).to bmw:calling two cold means calling one raise in limit. one bet (the blind) and one raise means calling two cold preflop.to the OP:i raise KQo UTG at loose passive tables (ala microlimits). i will fold to a raise if i haven't entered the pot though. same with AJ, i'll raise in any position in an unraised pot but will fold to a raise if i haven't entered the pot.aseem
quadaces 0
Actually, KQ is one of the few hands worth calling two cold with (AQ and AJ are the others)You over value AJ. It is not a good enough hand to call 2 bets cold. What do you think the raiser has?
