Well after long consideration i have decided to try and take a my shots at more mtts. I know they can be very profitable as long as i can stay focused. For the most part my online carrer has been mainly concentrated on shorthanded limit play. I have went through huge swings doing this because A) i played shorthanded and B) I was playing above my bankroll. I have been up thousands and gone bust and I dont ever want to do that again. From now on i am playing within my bankroll. Starting after spring break I am looking to play smaller stakes limit holdem again but also at the same time play some mtts. My main problem in tounrneys isnt getting chips but donking them off when i have a huge stack. I cannot even count the times where i have been near chip leader late in a tourney just to bust out a half hour later I am too aggressive late when I dont need to be. I have been reading some of the posts dealing with tournaments and was basically asking you fellow posters to point me in the direction of the best posts dealing with tournament strategy. Also i have read that for sng's you should have anywhere from 30-60 or so buyins should you have the same amount for mtts?I see a lot of people on this forum who do very well at tournaments and any advice from you would be greatly appreciatedthanks sirch1yes i know i spelled tournament wrong i was in a rush

there was a great post started by GrinderMJ in the tournament strategy section. I like to mix it up with tournaments and cash games, but I think tournaments are the way to go, for me anyway.
