the red bull 0
I Think it's Boris Diaw, though Mike James is pretty close. I had to give the nod to Boris Diaw, since he's on the Suns, and James is on the Raptors.Discuss.
keith crime 8
I'd actually say Lebron
Azreous 0
I really don't see why Marcus Camby is on the list. I like him a lot as a player, but his only "improvement" this year (and most of last season) was being healthy. He's still a monster on the glass and blocking shots.Unsurprisingly, my vote goes to Diaw, but I think this is closer than the MVP race. David West has tripled his scoring this season, and if the Hornets end up sneaking their way through the back door into the playoffs, he might get the nod from me. But Diaw is a triple-double threat every night out and can play any position 1-5 on the floor (even a guy like me who was excited about bringing in Diaw at the start of the season would have laughed if you'd told me he'd lock down Yao Ming playing center). NarSARSsist 0
Lol, subtract one vote from David West, I wasn't looking carefully when I voted. I meant to vote for Diaw, who IMO shows the greater improvement.Diaw WestBetter FG% improvement Better FT% improvement[better 3Pt FG% improv. too]Better Rebound improv.[both %-wise and actual number]Better Assist improv.[both %-wise and actual number]Better Block improv. Better Steal improv. Less TO increase %-wise, their scoring went up about the same amount, so I'm not going to score one higher than the otherAs for Camby, I totally agree with you Azreous. Everyone made a big fuss about how good his season started, but he's cooled down now. I think that's about all he had going for him. He's not even really healthier than last season. This season, if he plays the rest of the games, he'll play 61 games. Last season he played 66. Numbers-wise, by now, he's not that significantly better than last season [though at the beginning, he was just a monster, averaging almost 30 efficiency a game?].Mike James is having quite the season, but just isn't quite the same monster as David West or Boris Diaw though. Those two make the better race than James and Diaw. It's definitely not Lebron though, lol. Not any more accurate, but scoring more, grabbing less boards, less assists, and less steals with a bit more in blocks. Not really too significant an improvement (in fact, his efficiency last season is almost the same as this season, 28.23 vs. 28.89).
KowboyKoop 0
I'd actually say LebronWHAAAAA????? Lebron James as most improved????His points are up from 27 per game to 30 per game..so that's a little improvement..but his rebounding is down from last year, his assists are down from last year, his steals are down from last year, his FT % is down from last year, and his 3-point % is down from last year. and he has .2 more blocks per game. I'm pretty sure that is NOT the most improved player in the game. You have very strange opinions on thing......

Nimbletoe 0
Diaw was awful in Atlanta. He's now playing his brains out. This one is a no brainer.
dspandrew 0
I would say that West is the most improved but its almost a toss-up between him and Diaw. Both have had pretty terrible careers before this year and have came out of nowhere. The reason I would say that West is truly more improved is because of the Phoenix offense and the fact that its so wide open that multiple guys on their team are having career years and Tim Thomas scored 20 in his debut for them after not playing in months. Kurtman213 0
I'd say Boris Diaw or Tony Parker
Solodell 0
It's Diaw, which is really simply a testament to Steve Nash.
princeof56k 0
While Diaw will likely win this award, I have to say that I absolutely hate this award. Most of the time this award will go to some average player who falls into one or more of these categories (or a combination of):1. Wasnt getting minutes and now is getting minutes2. Traded to such a bad team he is now the man3. Coming back from injuryThe real improvement is done by guys truely going to another level. This year thats players like Pierce and Arenas (I might put Brand and Parker here too). Even Nash turned it up a notch this year. The jumps these players make is extremely difficult and might not show up on the stat sheet. I would like to see Pierce or Arenas get it, but that aint gonna happen.Diaw looks like an ok player, but here's the facts. He's playing more minutes in Phoenix. He's in a high octane offensive system with the best ball distributer in the league. It's too difficult to tell if his improvement is due to himself or the system.
na3r0k 0
I'd have to go with mike james. Marcus camby is improved this year, but i play lots of fantasy and have always liked the guy, not many people realize what a good player he is, not only this year but past years. seacucumber 2
I also think this one isn't close at all. Diaw barely got off the bench last year in Atlanta and this year he's a triple double threat who plays positions 2~5 (not sure if he has actually played PG). I am most impressed with his 6 assists per game. That's just crazy for someone who plays PF mostly and now at C.
