runthemover 39
whatever team TO goes to will win the superbowli forgot to add the exception. if TO decides to pick a team that didnt have a chance to make the playoffs without him (Dallas)i guess the money was too good cuz his other options of miami, denver or KC were the best chance to win. dEv~ 19
you can hype LJ all you want, he's a great back. But don't put down LT. Over the last 3 years he's averaged 1800-1900 total yards and 18 TDs. That's pretty sick.SD definetly hasn't done themselves any favors getting rid of Drew Brees. He wasn't Big Ben or anything but Phillip Rivers better be able to get the ball to Gates. All I said is that ever since LJ has been playing, his yards per carry and yards per reception have been significantly higher than LT's...and that is a fact. Thus, if LJ gets the ball as much as LT does, which it is likely he will next year, then it not unreasonable to think that LJ could have a much bigger year than LT. He had a better year than him last year and LJ didn't even start all the games.

You think that after LJ ran for 200+ yards on Houston..or after ALLL those dominant weeks..that they weren't "trying to stop him" or whatever?? Lol.......whatever. Besides...our offense has WAY too many weapons for the defense to just be able to focus on our running game and stop it....there is a reason our O-line is so good...EVERY team knows we are a rushing team..yet they can never stop it..whether it be Priest Holmes, Derrick Blaylock, or now Larry Johnson....You clearly don't really know what you're talking about...you are just a fan saying things that you "hope" will happen. KowboyKoop 0
man...ur the biggest homer on this forumi used to like the chiefs...now u made them into a team that annoys me~LJ may get his numbers, but chiefs aint winning squat~Please tell me what statements I have made about my teams that make me a homer. EVERY statement I make about them, I have backed up with facts and solid reasoning. You, on the other hand, just blindly say "oh, the chiefs aren't winning squat," yet you provide zero reasoning. You do realize that we were 10-6 last year, right?? You do realize that we had the best offense in the league last year, and we are only losing one player from that, right? You do realize that our defense is fairly young, clearly improving, and was actually pretty good against the run last year, right?? All that leads to a reasonable conclusion that the Chiefs are going to be a good team next year that will be a contender. I'd love to hear your reasoning as to how that is being a "homer." I'd love to hear how me saying the Royals are gonna win 73 games is a "homer." I'd love to hear how me saying that the U of Alabama is going to be one of the best teams in the nation, is a homer. (Hint: They ended the year #8....thus they were one of the best teams in the nation). I'd love for you to tell me how me proclaiming Texas to be the best college football team is me being a "homer." I'd love to hear how me saying that the MU Tigers are gonna struggle to be an NCAA team is me being a "homer." I'd love for you to actually explain how I am a homer...instead of just randomly saying it because you don't like me. Ouch....you just got OWNED!!!!!

Solodell 0
I'm gonna say Bears vs Colts. Vinateri will make the kicks that Vanderjagt missed, that gets them over the hump, and the Colts win it all.

Vinateri will make the kicks that Vanderjagt missed, that gets them over the hump, and the Colts win it all.Bears? That's an awfully shaky limb you are out on there....don't they need a quarterback first?? We'll see about them..maybe Grossman or Griese will come through.....Also..as for the Colts....Vinateri is a good addition...but he FAR from makes up for what they lost in Edge....I think people are gonna be surprised to see the negative effect that loss has on their offense..not that it will suck...but not nearly as powerful. Solodell 0
My pick of the Bears is as much an indictment on the NFC being bad as anything. But they have a great defense, a great running game, which was surprising given how horrible the passing game was with Orton. Give them a full year with Grossman to figure out how that offense is gonna play out and I think they have as good a chance as any to make it to the SB. I think the Colts will draft someone who replaces Edge well enough. Remember, they successfully replaced Marshall Faulk, I think they can handle this. I think any non-crappy RB can rush for 1200 yards in that offense.

BearCanada 0
Miami is my pick as a darkhorse. Here's why, their defense is solid and Defense ultimately wins championships. No one knows this better then the Colts except maybe the Houston Oilers and the Buffalo Bills from Back in the day. Miami has a soft schedule and should be able to secure at least some home field advantge, not to mention the big game itself. Culpepper is the real deal and he has been working hard in the offseason and feels like he has something to prove both on the field and off. He will be looking to show what he is made of. Just one more time, I am picking them as my darkhorse team.-Bear
custom36 5
Just one more time, I am picking them as my darkhorse team.-BearMiami is good, and they're a good pick for the Wild Card, but they're no better than that. The Chiefs, Colts, Steelers, Broncos, and Bengals (if they stay out of jail) are better. At best Miami is the #5 team in the AFC....at best.
tyfgine 0
I really don't think the colts will be anywhere near as good as they were last year. Cheifs, Broncos, Steelers, Chargers, Bengals.Miami I don't know much about.
