KowboyKoop 0
koop, you're pimping the chiefs way too much. one post you say trent green is one of the most underrated qbs in the league, next post you say he's immobile with weak knees.that's exactly what you want to put your hopes on. he's getting old, and who's the qb for the future? is todd collins still the backup qb?not saying they won't be good, but LJ being the best rb of all time because he was on pace to break a record? even comparing him to LT right now is pretty ludicrous.also, not a wise move to bash schottenheimer and his lack of postseason success...herm edwards hasn't been a postseason stud either...as for my SB prediction...damn, not easy...i'll go cincy/carolina. no reasoning behind it.Trent Green IS one of the most underrated QBs in the league..and he IS immobile and has weak knees. He doesn't rush that well..only every once and a while when forced too...and he has a big history of knee problems. Remember, he was the guy hurt when Kurt Warner came into St. Louis and had his great run. Same thing for him in Washington before that..knee problems. However, b/c he is now behind the best O-line in football..he hardly ever takes a big hit. That was my point...that the O-line is so good. Because they are so good, Green gets to just stand in the pocket and throw all day..and thus, his numbers are very good and over the past 4-5 years...his numbers aren't worse than anybody but Peyton Manning...look them up, people will be surprised at how he just ALWAYS throws for 4000 yards. And yeah, I do put my "hopes" on a great QB behind a great O-line that protects him nearly flawlessly. Yeah..he is getting old, but he says that he has a good 3 years left in him, and behind that O-line, I believe him. He can't run around very well..but age has had no effect on his throwing arm...have you seen signs of him "getting old"??For the future..we'll probably draft a QB next year...so I am not worried about that. Half the teams in the league at this point don't even have a starting QB to be confident about...so I'm not gonna get too worried right now about who our backup QB is for the next three years. About LJ....uh..where did I say that he was the greatest RB of all time??? I believe that I said that IF he keeps going like he is going, then he WILL be the best RB in the league. Not of all time. If he plays a full year and rushes for 2200+ yards or something similar...I think it'll be safe to say that he will be pretty dominant. Also, I didn't say that LJ was already better than LT, I said that I can see LJ having a better year than LT b/c of LJ's potential and I think LT is coming off some injuries..right??? RB's usually don't stay dominant for long stretches of time, so perhaps LT's time has already passed, and maybe not, but LJ looked invincible last year and again, is rushing behind an incredible O-line. He'll have a big year. Also..come on, Shitenheimer is LEGENDARY for his postseason failure. He is happy to have a winning record in the regular season, and that is it. Shitenheimer is 5-12 in the postseason with some pretty good teams..Edwards is 2-3 with the Jets......I'd say they are a little different in that respect.

Guest Guest
no one knows yet, but he is retarded if he leaves. He is not a great QB, he is a decent QB who happens to be on the same team as LT and Antonio Gates. If he is smart, he will stay on and win the Super Bowl, if not, then ****, I dont care. If we have a new QB, we will end up giving LT the ball a hell of a lot more, which is a good thing. But Brees will probably be back.C'mon man. If you were a real Chargers fan you would know that Brees wants to stay in San Diego and for some reason they want to deal him to give an unproven Rivers a shot. That's crazy, especially since they came to terms on the CBA extension and created more cap space. Anyway, I think the Chargers would be crazy not to sign him, but rumor has it he's going to end up in Miami or New Orleans, most likely Miami.

KowboyKoop 0
Indy is gonna be down next year. Their team will play next year without the "Edge" necessary to go all the way.....Get it...Edge.

KowboyKoop 0
They may still keep him in Indy, too early to tell.I know that he wants a huge contract, so it would appear he is heading elsewhere..but we'll see.
Hobbes 1
I know that he wants a huge contract, so it would appear he is heading elsewhere..but we'll see.Manning and Harrison restructured their contracts to try to keep Edge. I think that's why they did it. I don't really pay attention to football in the offseason.
KashousKlay 0
I know that he wants a huge contract, so it would appear he is heading elsewhere..but we'll see.I hope they can figure out a way to keep the Edge. If they can't i think they are in a world of hurt. I'm still holding out hope with the increased salary cap. I'm afraid that if he hits the open market, which will happen at 12:01 tonight, he's gonna see bigger money and go elsewhere......ESPN is saying maybe Jacksonville or Baltimore. If you were the Edge though wouldn't you take a few less dollars to stay in Indy? I would think that is his best chance to win a super bowl and where else is he going to go where the offense is so spread out and he has so much room to run? As a colt's fan it's probably just wishful thinking on my part.

XXEddie 0
Koop's not going to like that I'm a Broncos fan.Look, guys, it's as simple as this: If Jake Plummer doesn't shave in the offseason and his beard/pornstache combo grows out like a chia pet, and if Mike Shanahan handcuffs Plummer so he can't throw off of one foot, the Broncos will be in the Super Bowl. The only way that team loses with its running game is when they're behind at halftime and Plummer has to throw, and his career with the Cardinals was plenty of evidence about how terrible Jake was at playing from behind.Denver won't actually make it, though. I'll say the Giants and the Steelers, just for shits and giggles.yeah.....without Mike Anderson, there bets RB, tatu, bell sucks. Jeb Putzier, there best TE. and Trever Pryce, the best DLhahahhahahahahahahaha NO!Goooooo Eagles<ducks>If they can stay healthy they have a shotlast year they lost their best WR, in todd pinkston(no counting TO) the best RB and their QB to injury

Not that it would matter...he is a beast.Lol...what have I said that is untrue?? LJ had a gigantic year when he played last year....and is running behind the best (arguably) O-line in football. L.T. has put up good numbers b/c he gets the ball so much...but in reality he hasn't had a "great" year since 2003. That's all I've been saying..is any of it untrue???
