KingAnt 0
Is it possible to make a living off of online poker!!! :?
looshle 6
Absolutely. If people can make aliving off a 40/80 game @ the casino, why can't they do it in a 40/80 game online? Silly question, no offense.
smurdogg 0
If you're smart enough and disiplined enough to clean up at a level high enough to net you 50,000 a year, you can probably get a better job.

Can't imagine too many jobs that would be better. You are your own boss and have tons of flexibility.
Gator519 0
You think that 50k is the most people make online usually? A lot of the 'pro' poker players play atleast 8 tables at the same time. Making 20k a month if not more.
JaysonWeber 0
making a living playing online is NOT far-fetched, you can find sites witht he names of pro's. Interviews with many of them some even give estimates to how much they win yearly...
AC BillP 0
Making a living, and living your life to your idea of it's full potential, are two different things. I see no reason one can't have a full career while also playing winning poker online. With $25,000 or so you should be able to do quite well playing several $10-$20 games online, and will actually see more hands than at one table in a casino playing higher. But to get really good, I think you can't beat the experience of live play--even if it's on vacations to AC or Vegas.
dms26 3
I would think it would be easier to make a living online ,no tips and less rake. Plus more hands per hour and the ability to multi-table.
GoBucksIndy 0
"A lot of the 'pro' poker players play atleast 8 tables at the same time"Maybe four, but very very few, if any play 8.
jayboogie 0
I would say it is easier to make a decent living online than offline. Playing 10/20, 15/30 online is better than live, because your paying less rake and no tips. If you want to play at the higher limits, online will be a lil more difficult just because it would be hard to find games and somebody playing 100/200 online is usually a pro themselves, so it would be tougher competition as well. Again like another poster said, it is your standard of living which will determine whether you can do it or not.

And it's not "maybe four" either, tons and tons of people do 4-5 tables. I have 2 friends who 8-table and a few people on 2+2 talk about doing it regularly. But all this said.... yeah it's a rare guy who 8-tables compared to the general population.
