i didnt notice any...hey who do you think is going to get whacked this season?the whack atleast one main character every season.the characters with the most "whack votes" taken on an onnline poll are christopher and paulie. then again these have been the most voted since season 2 so i dunno. whos it gonna be??

I though sunday was a so-so episode of the sopranos -- still superior to any other show, but only average for sopranos. Did anybody find it a bit hard to believe that AJ would be able to bring that gigantic knife into the lockup where Junior was? Such a place would have a metal detector I would think... but that friggin sword he brought in would be found my even the most cursory of patdowns... and if its so easy why hasnt he been whacked yet, by some other goon?

With the wife being in the Hair industry and all I can say is that there is no way a guy like Johhny Cakes would do the hoizontal mambo with a round furry little weeble. Just not buying it. And quite frankly lets get after finding this guy already. We get it, he's gay and tormented, now freakin' wack him already! (no, not that wacking either).And AJ is the weakest most un interesting aspect of the show IMO. I really hate it when the writers get off on these subplot episodes. Too much psycho anaylizing, and AJ trying to "find himself". I mean you need some of that family aspect stuff, adds to the depth of the charactors, but too much and the show starts looking scattered unfocused.Tony's temptation was interesting and the whole thing about how corporate America is killing the 'old ways' of doing 'business'. And there were planty of classic one liners.Next week looks like they get back to the GOOD stuff. Chrissy's movie deal, The chase to find and hit Vito, the fallout of the hit last week on the mayor of munchkin land, etc.Still the best drama on the tube.On a side note, Deadwood looks interesting this season. I lost interest last season, so does anyone have a vibe on this new one?

again i believe that all the subplots and sub stories and underlying themes is what makes this show the best show to every have aired. i mean you take this show to any other drama out there. this show really makes you think hard and it is enjoyable.on an unrelated note I realised the other day that i will miss juniors funny calls all the time "I been farting into the same sofa cushion for the past 18 months"

I think Deadwood is better, and probably 24. Both are more consistant to an overall storyline than Sopranos. These sidetracked episodes of the Sopranos bring it down imo. Deadwood is a bit better in fleshing out characters than 24 though so I'll give it the nod.

Technically this is the last season, but after this 12 episodes run, there's gonna be a break and then another 8 episodes are scheduled to run in Jan. 07... because of the 6 month (which could always turn into 9 months, 1 year, etc.) break, I still consider this the next to last season. That being said though, I too expect some serious violence to take place before the end of these 12.I agree that the character development of all of the sopranos characters is one of the show's strengths. Although the stuff w/AJ could have been more exciting, I think the episode was entirely consistent with those in the past featuring AJ-and at least were more entertaining then AJ getting in trouble for getting drunk at school or trashing the school imo.I miss Uncle Junior's presence in the show as well. Next to Tony, he had the best one liners. And as for the almost sexual encounter Tony had w/Julianna, I was disappointed but not surprised. I think I was most disappointed by the fact that old Tony would have hit that $hit twice before even thinking about Carm. But I guess the new past mid-life crisis gun shot survivor 2 times over Tony is not gonna take on those affairs anymore- or at least until he has a fight w/Carm and/or the chick is super smoking hot.

i never really watched 24, i tried to one day at about noon (noon in the TV show) some part when jack is trying to rescue this girl from this crazy dude and they are crouching behing cars. violent action movies and TV shows doing do anything for me, i like things that make you think.and yeah tony not having sex with that woman just shows how much he is changing, as well as selling up that building, thats gay.i was watching interviews at http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/video/ and realised how similar the voices are to the characters. i thought they bunged on those accents for the tv show. Lorraine Bracco's voice really is that whiny naggin voice that makes me want to break glass on my head every time i hear it

Then you should get the entire first season on DVD and start watching, 1 episode in the middle of a season out of context means nothing. The plots twists in 24 are the best on TV and it makes you think way more than Sopranos does.

I am a big Sopranos fan - I think this season is lacking a little but its still worthy of tuning in. I do have to say that when Vito is finally popped I will be happy camper. Cant stand the *ucker. I can't stand how he walks and how they keep saying he lost weight.. hes still a FAT @ss. Ok done now

Best season ever? No way, but still as tasty as ever. Even the critics are vocal about this season drifting off at times for no seemly good reason.The next few weeks need less subplotting and more mob boss takeover plotting. Period. Seriously, they need to get back on point here, Junior, Vito, Paulie, Chrissy, the terrorists, Tony, etc. Stick to the goombahs be goombahs. And did they ever revisit Tony's reaction to the guy that hung himself in the first one? WTF happened to that plot line?WE NEED MORE MOBSTERS MAN!(Or more shots of Meadow writhing in her unmentionables..... that'll work too)

Last nights episode was really hit and miss. Chris and Tony jacking the Vipers for the wine was kind of funny, Chris shooting up heroin drug on for far to long, the whole thing with Paulie going cooky is getting kind of old. Carmella getting reamed by Adrianas mother was funny. No Vito was good, I'm sick of his plotlone already, someone off the guy and shoot Tony's sister in the process.

Last nights episode was so so. I enjoyed the part when Christopher was drinking with Tony and he remembered when he told Tony about Adrania was a rat. It really showed that Christopher knew what was going to happen and that he had a serisous softside to the whole issue.Other then that it was hard for me to keep my attention on the whole thing.As Vito goes, I don't think that anyone from the family will take him out. I think some of those guys that were at the bar are gonna kill him.

Looks like next week someone catches on to where he is, since the preview showed him talking to his gay buddy about people looking for him. You would think that would be Vito's ultimate fantasy, getting chased down by a group of men.

Thought he might run out and get her some cement shoes instead of a wedding ring. Paulie...good lord. Nut job. Does he have it? He must right?, otherwise why run back to mommy? So where/how is this season going to end? I get the feeling that we are being set up for what will eventually be a heroin infested Chris killing Tony in the end, mainly to avenge the hit on Adriana.

I agree, nothing big will happen this season. Next season is going to be great. I honestly think its going to end in a blood bath. When is Johnny Sack getting out of the slammer? I think when he gets out all hell is going to break lose between New York and Jersey.Or the FBI is going to have a massive crack down on all of them. I've had a theory on the whole situation, if Tony ever goes to prison he will kill him self before he has to put his family through that.
