Wsop Satellite Seats

Recommended Posts

Alright, here's the deal. I'm looking to start trying to qualify for the prelimenary tournaments on some online sites. But I do not, repeat, do not, want to qualify for the main event. I'd rather buy a lottery ticket than play in an event with that many entrants. Does anyone know if there are any sites out there offering packages to play in several smaller events at the WSOP? Any info would be much appreciated.-Bubba.

And you think that a $1500 buy-in tournament with 2k entrants with blinds starting at 25-50 and 1500 starting chips isn't a lottery? To answer your question, I think Tilt runs some sats into smaller events, but Im not sure.

Was thinking more along the lines of the $2,500 and $5,000 events. The 6-handed NL $5,000 buy-in event sounds really awesome. Doyle won it last year and it had only 300 entrants. They also added a $2,500 buy-in 6-handed event for the upcoming year.

i had the same problem with the page not loading properly. i found that if you minimize that window so it is not full screen that you will get the full page and you can then scroll down. hope this helps. :club:
That helps alot. I was driving me crazy when I was trying to get updates on the headsup matchs. Cardplayer kept loading only part of the page and refresh wouldn't work.....not sure what they did but at least now I have a work around. THANKS!

The WSOP has Satellites there for just about anything you want. and i think from 50 on up.
Yeah but I don't really have the money to fly out there and put myself up in a hotel just so that I MIGHT be able to qualify for an event. I think I'm going to play on Bodog, they don't offer the preliminary $125+$10 qualifier events yet, but I emailed support and they said they will be running those MTTs for entries into the smaller events within the next month or so. These packages also include airfare and hotel I believe so it works out nice. I really hope they run a sat for the $2,500 6max NL Tourney.

I think the way they do it, or at least, how full tilt did it, was that you choose which event you want to play if you win the $2500 qualifier.

I like how the OP poses a question, then proceeds to actually research it, then finds his answer. :club::D:D:D:):)
