Absolute 0
Also, Hellmuth doesn't say that kind of stuff in a .50/1 game online.if he took that beat in a .50/1 game, he wouldn't reply at all. if you dont believe me go watch him play at UB. he only plays those micro limits under the obligations of his agreement with UB that he has to play so many hands.dont be a sucker. DCWildcat 0
...or maybe it's not funny when it's not taken seriously...seems kinda pointless...
scweeber 0
I was playing at ub last week in a 50 cent a dollar nl game and guess who I ran into, Phil Hellmuth the guy I cleaned out about 2 times before. Its stuff like this that gets me wound up, this quote he said If there wasnt luck involved i would win every time or something like that. When I ran into him again I just had to teach him another lesson you cant beat the best Phil, and the best is me. About 20 minutes into the game, I get dealt a 3 8 suited of spades, Phil starts the betting he bets a dollar I raise a dollar, Phil calls the flop comes 7 of spades 9 of spades and a king of hearts, Phil bets a dollar i go all in, and Phil calls we flip are cards up and Phil has ace king big slick he says and I say 8 high flush draw, the turn comes a ace of diomands and then the river comes a jack of spades I hit my flush. Phil just goes bullistic saying how could you go all in on a 8 high flush draw and I say Phil I new it would hit because im the best poker player in the world. This now makes it 3 times a beat Phil at ub and you know why, its because i'm the best poker player in the world.damn, man... with skills like that you must have at least 2-3 WSOP braclets in you this year... taking down hellmuth at a micro limit table when he is payed to play (and not win, mind you) is quite an achivement... i can't wait 'til you school him in this year's main event, because we all know how washed up he is and how his 9 braclets (all in hold 'em) were a fluke and we all know he gets no respect from the poker community... i guess if there wasn't luck involved you'd win every one, right dude? Schuler 0
The guy allegedly commits fraud by purposely disabling himself...and he has the gall to insult someone else's intelligence?"I hurt myself for money. You're dumb."
StonedViper 0
I'll give him one thing tho, he figured out how UB works better then Phil...lolIf you don't play 2 sooooted cards or any connectors at UB you will lose, don't play any AA or AK's on there, you need to play the crap hands to win, if you flop a flush or straight draw you will make it 90% of the time at UB.Can you tell i hate UB?....lol
dms26 3
I'd love to see Hellmuth go off on the internet, sounds hilarious. Although I doubt this happened, still a funny post. At least no references to the C word.

Herr Mensch 0
Hellmuth is one of the best players around when he's facing the best players around. When he's up against mediocre competition, like folks who go all in on 8 high flush draws, he's lost. It completely flummoxes the poor guy that anyone could play that badly on purpose. But you should watch him play the $80/$160 2-7 Triple Draw games. Especially when Spriit Rock/Mahatma is in the game. 'How can you check raise with a 456 with one draw left?'Good stuff. 'How can you check raise with a 456 with one draw left?'Good stuff.Yeah my friend plays these games too, they are fun to watch. And there are reasons to checkraise or bet and 3bet with a rough hand with 1 draw to go.Like if you have a T low, and you can get a 8 or 9 to break his hand and draw. You're the favorite over basically any draw with a made T low.Not that I know a ton about TD, but I've played a bit, and the betting lets you be pretty creative if you have a good idea of how your opponents play. I've seen people break a 87542 when 3bet with 1 draw to go, because the other guy stood pat with a crappy "made hand", they draw and get a pair or a broadway. They then go ballistic. It's great fun. :)For any of this crap to work you almost have to have position and have set it up the draw before. Then you can see if he DOES draw after your play, and can stand pat.Of course if you these fine plays constantly -- bye bye bankroll!
BigSlick 0
My friend told me a idea when we were working together at the mill, I was telling him i was on a little bit of a bad streak in poker, so he sugested perposly injuring myself so the goverment gives me money. Any ways god bless the canadian goverment and workers comp.Glad to know that every day that I go to work it is to help you sit on your ass and play those crappy hands against Mr. Helmuth and others. Where is my cut since I am helping to stake you in this little venture?Get a job!!

Keep up the good work, no one can brighten my day like you.The best part of your posts are the answers from others like rwood, "keep playin that way man, we will get you yada yada." Your the best.
mark33f 0
I doubt Phil cares about a few dollars on UB and I doubt he got mad or went "ballistic" like you say. Why do you post such crap? When you are a quarter as good as Phil or maybe an eighth come back and post "you cleaned his clock"

jack24bauer24 0
As a matter of fact i did teach that discrunteld poker player a lesson. You must have had your big brother, or the guy who inserts your feeding tube to type this, because there's no way you could use the word discruntled in a sentence....you just made him purposely butcher the spelling to make it look like you. theACE 0
Lol, most of you guys are waaaay too serious, lighten up guys. Pokerstarben has posted before about much the same stuff and its all for jokes.
