AvoidReality 0
Did i play this hand fine or should i have raised to $25 or something? The board was pretty scary and i didnt want to try and get tricky and have a 6, j or spade fall on the turn, he seemed very interested in the hand and didnt think he would have called a reraise yet fold to a push, any ideas? DrawingDeadInDM 0
No. On a draw heavy board, I'm fine with that.
HurricaneKyle 0
Not bad. I think the monster draw you fear is unlikely given the action. Looks to me like he had AJ and was wanting find out how strong you really were after he raised to 8.50 more.
KowboyKoop 0
Nice hand. Just because you don't get a call on that doesn't mean it is the wrong play. Your play is a LOT better than letting a draw see cards for cheap.
gaddyjr 0
Definitely a good push. It's nice to see someone not fall in love with their hand and try to slow-play it. His reraise let you know that he had something (likely either a T, or good draw) and you made the right play to send him packing and win the pot there IMO.
kung fu 0
i'm going to go against the grain and say i don't like the re-raise. there really aren't many draws on the board other than a flush draw and you can't go getting nervous every time two suited cards come on the flop. i think we're facing 2 pair and the villain is way behind. most of the time i'm waiting until the turn, then pushing 99% of the time. depending on reads. this extracts more value. Also he may have had 89 for an oesd. If he also had 10 7 i cant see him laying down two pair there either.Edit: Wrong quote, i was replying too Kung Fu
