Azreous 0
Good read.I got a laugh out of "I think I'm going to play some 5/10 today. Maybe 3/6. Maybe 25c/50c." especially.

Mercury69 3
That guy is a little shit and just begging to get raped by someone who is truly decent. Not that that person is me, but...
TS Clark 0
Chan's blog is a star among all the poker blogs I read regularly (which are quite a few). He's a good writer, very smart guy, and lives a very different lifestyle than I do (and thus, to me, a very interesting life). He's also clearly an outstanding card player and has some very insightful things to say.You should all read his stuff regularly. It's well worth the time.As for the people saying he'll go broke, I really doubt that. I think if he had a very bad run, he'd just drop down in limits and quickly grind his way back to where he is. By reputation (and as reported by others in the poker world), the guy absolutely crushes the 30-60 and 50-100 limit games, as well as mid-limit NLH. I take him at his word for this story -- it's not something he'd normally do, but it was too hard for him to turn down a chance to pound on a guy he knew that he was WAY better than. You've got to have some gamble in you to play high-stakes HULHE. I don't have it, but I know most of the really successful ones do.

From what I read in that story, Chan was another half hour or hour of bad luck from being busted.

bayouboy 0
I found this interesting (if true) later in the journal."I talked to a guy the other night who says that he was told (I know, really reliable source huh?) that this guy has lost over a half a million in the last 6 months, that the site actually offered to pay for his poker lessons because the rake he was generating was no where near the cost of the transactions that he incurred putting the money into the site. He evidently declined."
