Recommended Posts

Thought i'd start a new thread. Can't really rail him though since UB has that maximum on observers crap. But there's 6 left and he just doubled up, he's sitting 2nd in chips.jeetorius = PoppinFresh on our FCP forums btw.

Wow that beat was a bit nuts, oh well, down to 4 now, better for you =]Now we are the low stack, though, but over 10x BB at least!

Ugh, dunno about that 109s hand.We had M's of 6, effective M must be lower since we're 4-handed I dunno how to calculate that, but villain was a pretty tight player I didn't think he would come without at least A high, and unfortunately he had KK.I think it was the right play, with so much money in the pot I have to try to pick it up with a hand that does well in an all-in, I dunno someone help?!I might be questioning that one for a while.Edit: I was in the sb that hand and villain was in the bb, for anyone who wants to tell me what they think.

Post it in here after using converter, I didn't catch how it played out, just that he was all in with KK for most of your stack and you had 10 9 suited.

Would this player attack a limp with any hand in the BB? If so, I don't mind this play as much, if he'd only raise with a good hand after we limp, and check the rest, I'd rather limp.He still has like 12x BB, I think this may have been overplayed, anyone elses thoughts?

You guys are gonna make me cry :club:  I'm still not convinced it was the wrong play, but I'm gonna hate myself if like 3 more people come in and say I shouldn't have pushed(not that you shouldn't tell me that).Villain would have pushed to my limp with a lot more hands than he would call my push with IMO, I can't accurately give him a range though.

I think I prefer a limp here. You are in the SB, and will be getting 2 free hands afterthis one. The other 2 guys have stacks just as short as you,and I'm sure moving up, even one spot, in the placing wouldbe a pretty significant chunk of change. No doubt he would raise you if you limped, and thedecision then would be to call or fold...All depends on what he raises it to.

In other news, this was the first time I had played in this and I must say it was a joy, the structure is incredible and easily the best I've seen for a Sunday tournament. I really recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.Overall I was happy with my play even if I donked it in the end, I made a few big laydowns to stay in it and battled through as a shortstack up until the FT. I'll be back next week for my revenge.PS - Bizzle where is your comment!? I was looking forward to hearing from you :-)
