AlphaOmega 0 Posted February 16, 2006 Share Posted February 16, 2006 SB folded?C/cing is the way to go on the river.Better hands aren't going anywhere (you aren't folding any flushes and I don't think you fold two-pair/set holdings with enough frequency for a bet to be profitable in terms of fold equity) and it would be a dubious bet for value, as not many worse hands are calling.C/cing costs the same to show our hand down and we induce bluffs. How about if sb wakes up again on the river? easy fold right?Yep. We aren't closing the action (it could get raised behind us) and our hand has very poor showdown value relative to an EP bet into two opponents.Also if sb 3-bets that flop do I call and fold the turn UI?Meh. The pot will be pretty big and he could three-bet worse hands if he figures you for raising a draw.It's probably pretty close.
