petersun 0
It's possible, but I think it's just as likely he has two pair or aces. There is quite a range of hands he could be on. Certainly he could have any of the bigger sets.
Ninjaballz 0
Tough spot to be in, But there are a broad range of hands he could play in this fashion that you are way ahead of. Im calling here gettin 2-1 on my money and see what he does on the river.

socalpoker_j 1
Im betting out on the flop with a set of kings here That's the same exact line that I would take, because most people wouldn't think that you'd bet the nuts on the flop like that.
gooch 0
why kings? why can't he have 77 or 88? nobody else raises with those ever?
Slow Clap 0
That's the same exact line that I would take, because most people wouldn't think that you'd bet the nuts on the flop like that.I'm guessing someone with a 39 VPIP is pretty donkish and would probably think the best move would be to slow play the set. The standard move when a lot of donks flop a set out of position is to check/call the flop and then check/raise the turn. With that said, I'm not folding my set of 5s on the river, you can see two pair here too often.
