Just so everyone knows.... JJ publicly stated on 2+2 that the grandma story was a lie. He admitted to having several buy-ins to most of the Sunday tourneys. Party Poker laid the hammer down on him though. They seized the $140,000 he won and took his whole PP bankroll; he is threatning a lawsuit, but it won't make it past pre-lims. He didn't reveal that he had multiple accounts..... he told one of his friends that he was in the final 3 and the friend posted it on pocketfives. When people checked, they didn't see him and that's when the grandma story started. This guy is getting - on 2+2 where he used to be a mod. I don't play tourney's online, but I think people need to lay off him. HE HAS PUNISHED. Congrats to PP for making the right decision unlike PokerStars who dropped the ball last year in an identical situation with Exclusive. Oh yeah..... It seems to be the concensus that JJ is not 21. Most people are saying that he is 15.... damn he is a prodigy.
Lay off of him for cheating? NoOnline poker is a lot like golf, in that there are "referees" watching, but not enough to catch everything, so the players must govern themselves. JJ apparently feels that he's above the rules of the game, and nobody is bigger than the game. He screwed up, and he screwed up bad, I will NEVER have respect for JJProdigy. I will never rail him in a tourney, I hope he never sees a dime of any of the money on Party. I'd also be fine with it, if he never won another tournament. It's people like him that screw the game up for the rest of us. He is the reason that people are apprehensive about online poker. Nice job JJ, I hope it was worth it.

I agree with Pretoria..... so when are we starting a FCP "crew" and start chip dumping we could make millions.

So far nip/tuck and gbmantis have come to the defense of JJ.  nip/tuck is also a cheater and is cashing out his money before  he also gets caught and has it taken away from him.

He is just going to do it again, this time he will be smarter about it and get away with it again.I was in an Empire 250k with him that I cashed but he won, was he doing it then?I hope every other site he has money in is seriously investigating him right now. See if he has done this on their sites as well, and if they can't find that he has, well, if it is true that he is under 18 take his money anyway. (For those of you under the age here, I have nothing against you, as long as you don't cheat like he did, and I would never suggest taking anyone's money for just being underage.) I hope others agree with this, I have seen a lot of people backing him, which I don't understand, unless they are doing it as well.Huskers20

everyone moved up one in the money, i.e. 2nd got 1st, 3rd got 2nd, and 401st (out of the money) made the money in 400th place.

Yeah, that would be friggin' awesome. Can you even imagine that? I mean, you'd be excited already, just to have got second, and then you look at your account, and boom, it gets doubled and you get a bonus $60,000 in your account.Unreal.

GG reputation.I agree completely with Gank's article on the issue. Tough break for JJ in that he is taking all the blame for a growing problem, but he brought it on himself with his actions, and with the laughable excuse after he was caught.Kinda taints his victory in that tlb challenge a few months back as well.Patrick

anyone who defends him is doing it themselves, or have some sort of non sexual crush on him..possibly even sexual or broke and hoping he'll drop them a dime. But it looks like he is going to need most of his dimes right now

The funniest thing about it is the guy thinks he can bring a lawsuit. How can somebody who is (apparently) good at poker but such a total moron?
layne flack said that you can be a world-class poker player and not even be able to spell your own name. I agree with you, whiskey, and it blows my mind when I hear poker players talk about something other than poker. Like the WSOP final table when Robert Williamson says the match is US vs. Europe and has to be told that Australia is not in europe.
