Bet the river, at least. You want to collect another bet from A7, A5-A2, Kx, 99, 77, 87, 76. You'll lose a bet to stronger A's, but most of them would've raised preflop. You probably would've heard from a flush, set, or two pair on the turn, unless SB had the hand, in which case he would bet the river after the turn check-raise failed.I'd probably bet/fold the turn, myself, but I'm not convinced that's the best play in this case.Whoops! Missed the spade draw. Me silly.

Bet/call the turn and bet/call the river would be my line.
Me too. BTW, I wouldn't call A9 a "weak" ace in 6-handed. Any better ace is raising preflop the majority of the time, so if I were you, I would assume I'm good on every street until I get raised.

not betting that turn made me gag a little.**** read replies ****
Really? When the flush comes I don't still expect to be ahead. If neither has a flush (I'd be suprised) then I have to assume one has an ace. If they do, which aces am I beating....A2, A3, A4, A7.

your beating:K5 and K6 for one, and they don't have odds to call, if they correctly put you on A9.You are beating most PP's.You are beating any single :club:, now foaming at the mouth to flush youYou are beating oesd, gut shots, Q9, 24..What do you mean ?You think you opponents are just palying better Aces (no one raised preflop!) or 3 spades?Take it from a SLAP who sees a lot of showdowns, you are ahead a lot here.DONT GIVE FREE CARDS WHEN YOU HAVE AN EQUITY EDGE AND YOUR HAND IS MADE YET VULNERABLE (or not vulnerable, if the chance to c/r is slim, or in cases where you might want to induce a bluff...)FREE CARDS = INFINTINE IMPLIED ODDS FOR OPPONENTS

don't be scared everytime a flush draw hits, also people call down with much less than top pair. You're good here most of the time, easy bet on the turn.

The turn is by far the easiest bet call in the history of life. You are almost always ahead here, and when you are behind, you have a million outs. The way the hand played out, for god's sake, bet the river once the turn is checked through. You will get some very suspicious calls from people thinking you are FOS because you checked the turn.- Zach
