Robert_Eaves 0
I played a tourney at a local bar last night ()which i won) nothing to do with the story tho.We were 7 handed on the turn guy in seat 1 raises then is reraised sll in by another player. he thinks and talks for a bit. The guy who moved all in is next to the other and he is holding his upright facing him. the guy looks over at his cards sees he is beating him and call. (the look was blatent and obvious, he didnt try to hide it.A bunch of them say he should be kicked out of the game he was cheating and so on. I feel im one of the more experienced players and come to bat for the guy saying its the other guys reponsibilty to cover his cards.I think i was right but is this cheating? MisterFancypants 0
If the guy went out of his way to crane his neck or distract the guy whose cards he saw, I'd vote for cheating. If the cards were held in such a way that he could see them directly through normal line of sight by just turning his head, well that's nobody's problem but the idiot who is holding his cards for everyone to see. asspoundation 0
What if you emit such an enourmous fart that the cards flip up on the table, and then call. Is that cheating?

Rude Dog 0
Can't you invoke the show one, show all rule?If he held them out to be seen, why should just the one guy have the adventage of knowing what the are..the whole table should be able to see them.
Socrates 0
Let me ask a question. Does it make a difference if the guy is holding them up in front of him or trying to conceal his hand?I mean, if you're taking a peek at your cards and the guy next to you leans back and over in obvious fashion to see your cards, do you feel it's the same or a different situation?I'm willing to assume that most of those who say its his own fault, would go the other way if the story was " the guy raised all in and then went to peek at his cards and the guy next to him leaned over to see his cards and did see them and called seeing he was ahead."
