JacKingOff_suit 0
PLO $200 at Stars last night (no HH I am at work).BB played good hands and had a stack about $300, but he didn't seem to know the disadvantage of being OOP.MP was short-stacked.This hand I was on the button with 4 5 7 8 .3 limpers and I limped, BB potted raised, only MP called and I called. The flop was 3 6 9 .BB potted it about ~$40, MP moved in with his last about ~$35.I had wrap-wrap straight draws, flush blockers if not flush draws, and runner-runner another flush draw.Should I call or (pot-)raise BB? yeffy 0
Why do you say kick him out? Might he not call the rest of his money with top set?If you just call your done if the board pairs the turn and he bets. If the flush hits the turn and he bets then what? I think I want to get the money in with this big of a draw here. If he folds...fine, if he calls.... fine.
JacKingOff_suit 0
Why do you say kick him out? Might he not call the rest of his money with top set?If you just call your done if the board pairs the turn and he bets. If the flush hits the turn and he bets then what? I think I want to get the money in with this big of a draw here. If he folds...fine, if he calls.... fine.Because I believed that his preflop raising representated that he had AA and his continuation pot on the flop could mean that he had the nut flush draw, so I repotted it to have him folded. It turned out that MP had the nut flush draw, and BB folded to my repot on the flop. The reason I am posting this hand is because I want to see if there's any value of min-raising or calling here instead of potting it back.Result-oriented, if I only min-raised BB, I might had won an even bigger pot.At that time I could conclude that since BB potted and MP called then at least one of them was on the flush draw.If MP was on the better flush draw, it will be in my best interest of keeping BB here. Now when I think it again, if BB was on the better flush draw, given that his preflop raising and his flop pot, raising him won't make him go anywhere. In fact, if I was against say, As Ks Ad 5d, I was about 50:50. It would be safe to see a turn card, if the turn card fits me fine (4 in this case) then I would jam this pot and BB might still had called but then I would be much more favaroble to win the pot, and also a bigger pot. Vman96 0
You're only behind if he has a set and better flush draw than you. If you wait until the turn...you lose equity if you hit and he folds...or vice versa. You want to see 2 cards here...not 1.
LooseCannon 0
This is more or less a dream flop for you. You have the ultimate wrap, a flush draw, a gutshot straight flush draw, and a backdoor flush draw. You would be a more than 60% favorite heads-up against a hand like AsAh9s9h . Your goal here is to try and get it all-in on the flop. It would be hard to come up with a scenario where you are not positive EV here on the flop in a three-way pot (most of them involve having another player on a similar wrap). If you don't have the will and courage to push your strong draws on the flop and get it all-in without a made hand, then you shouldn't be playing pot-limit omaha. Rocketwadster 0
I think the problem here is that very few of your outs are for the nuts, and with 2 cards to come, even if you get the current nuts on the turn you could get counterfeighted on the river. I don't see top set going anywhere, and nut-flush may just stick around as well. Im a newbie, s0 I would be waiting to see the turn card... :?
