long term table image problem.

Recommended Posts

I have found a profitable nitch in micro-limit poker. I can excel at short-handed games. I find it easy to double or triple up when there are only 3-6 players at a table, with 4 and 5 players being the optimal number for my playing style. I generally chat with them and try to make the table fun. This worked to my advantage because they just thought I was getting lucky. The problem I run into is that I stay at the table too long, when the table fills up my style is not a winning technique. I generally end up losing my profit when the table fills up. This was my first problem. The simple solution was to get up and leave when the table filled up. It worked for awhile, but as I started coming back to my regular “customers”. I started getting comments that I was a hit and run artist and they would tell everyone at the table not to play me then leave. I had played with some of these people for months and they never had any problems with giving me their money before. I realized they didn’t have a problem until I started keeping their money. In the past they had seen me lose their money to other players on the same table. This was acceptable to them but not to me.The great thing about the Internet is that I can always find new “customers”. But, how do I prevent this from happening again?I am working on my full table game, but currently it is still not profitable for me.P.S. obviously this is not my real screen name.

if you prefer 4-5max, just create public tables with 4 or 5 max seats. but if you want to adjust your game, then basically tighten up as the number of players gets larger. a raise in 5-max is often a fold in full ring.

That was quite simple. Currently Bodog is the only place I have any money deposited on. Which sites offer 6 seated tables?
If you like money, go play Party 6 max tables. If making money isn't that important to you, almost every site (Party, Stars, Prima, etc) has 6 max tables.
