keith crime 8
I work as a trader. Traders like to gamble. A guy I knew supposedly lost like 25 grand on backgammon and coin flipping on the floor in San Francisco. We started out having 20 dollar tourney's on Friday's, first with maybe 4 traders, eventually with up to like 14. Then some guys got bored of them and started playing cash games where people lost as much as a grand. Then they started playing almost everyday. Then the tech guys all started having 20 dollar tourneys.Poker just got banned today for ethical concerns, by the owner. It was pretty interesting to see the whole thing evolve. Anyone else see this happen?
Incubus77546 0
Yeah this happened to me but not at work... at school. Well gambling at my school was already banned and you could get suspended from it if caught on school grounds. (Just like every other school)Well me and my friends though found a loop hole in the system and in my Keyboarding class (major blow off) I would download Pokerstars on the computer and play on my account. We had that going for the whole year. We would also play a .5/1 cash game during lunch outside behind the school. All was well until we returned next year to see that the school put in filters on the internet and now anything that had to deal with poker was blocked. So no more playing Pokerstars, cardplayer.com, and no more fullcontactpoker.com  But we still had lunch time... until my friends pussed out because of being scared of suspension.
HtotheNootch 0
The gambling known as business looks with austere disfavor upon the business known as gambling.
