bassplayer45459 0
Does anyone know any good casinos on the strip that run a low limit like 3-6 or 4-8 limit omaha hi/lo or stud hi/lo?thanks
Pupsta 0
hmm i've never had a problem thier...oh well guess im just lucky then..i dont mind the music but thats a personal taste. I havent been to ceasers yet...how are the players there...i usually play 4-8 or 4-8 half kill...also ive been lookin for a soft low limit O8 game on strip. if you know of any pupsta i would appreciate it4/8 o8 at the orleans is soft as baby poop. 5/10 fullkill o8 at the mirage is decent...there are some old regulars in the game that think they're the shit but are pretty bad. palace station has 3/6 o8 (although i don't remember how soft it was.......)the only one that's directly on the strip there is the mirage, but probably the softest o8 game is at the orleans, and you can find it there pretty much 24/7, where the other places you have to hope they have enough for it to be running. dms26 3
palace station has 3/6 o8 (although i don't remember how soft it was.......)why wouldn't you remember that? I mean it was just a week or two ago.

Id like to meet other FCP members sometime.  ANd by the way, everyday when I see Jeff, instead of saying whats up I say RRRRRAAAAAAAIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSEEEEEEE!!!This is hysterical. I can't believe he is such a legend, a couple of my buddies and I were in Vegas in June and we still say that when we're watching each other play online! I'm actually heading out this weekend, I'm gonna try to get back there. Any other FCP members interested in a private tourney Sunday night post-game?
powerpoker 0
lol...this topic sorta turned from the OP's question but thats cool...if your going to the MGM besides jeff and his RRRRRRRRaise which is pretty much unforgettable also clay is cool, great dealer,...there are a lot of good dealers there like brandon, dan ( who consistantly gives me bad beats without hesitation) and the best female dealer there is Gina. All the dealers are great there but they stand out...but the games their are pretty soft no matter what level you are playin.
AZWildcat 0
my advice (based on experience)... Sit with $200 at the MGM $1/2 game for 3-4 hours, run it up to about $1000-1200, cash out, pocket about $400, then take the rest to a nice little place called Crazy Horse Too... Enjoy the attractions there, and thank the tourist donks for the luscious silicon sandwich...

nonnie 0
First thanks to everyone for your help. I am sure it will come in handy. I just had a couple more questions. I am going with a couple of friends who are not in to poker as much as I am and I wanted to know if there is a place where maybe we can play a sit and go? if so what are the buyins for these? Also I will probably go play the 1/2 NL games at the Mirage and MGM to get a feel for the whole live game process and hopefully move up to what I play online, 2/4 to 3/6 NL. I will let you guys know how it goes and thanks again for all your help. Also let me know if you have any more advice for me. peace.

nutzbuster 7
Don't forget the Wynn. Very nice room and amazing waitresses. I love the Mirage and Bellagio as well. Bellagio can be tough, but it is the grande dame of poker rooms.MGM is too loud and "exposed" feeling for me, almost like playing out in a large hallway with a huge staircase rising up and over your head. Too much music and noise there too. Games are soft as he ll though.Have fun!
bombsaway 0
Don't forget the Wynn. Very nice room and amazing waitresses.Woah, woah, woah. Careful, there. While I'll believe that the Wynn has a lot of good looking waitresses, I must say that the times I've played there, it's been a donkey-fest of an entirely different form. I had some better looking waitresses at the Nugget. What would I know, though? I'm also the guy who fidgets with the hydraulic lift of the poker room chairs constantly, so I can't possibly be reputable.OP - if your friends don't mind investing a couple of hours, the Rio puts on some cheap multi-tables (40 or less) at lunch-time most days. However, I suggest checking one of the free CardPlayer magazines you'll get when you get to a poker room, because they'll list just about all of the small daily tourneys that the casinos have going on.Anyways, have a blast in Vegas

powerpoker 0
yea 5/10 NL is not usually spread at MGM...sometimes on the weekend they get it going usually on only one table. Hope this helps
