Daniel still on track to get to the final table and finish out the daya, 5th in chips right now. He's going out in 8th or making the final table! Who believed more than me that this would be Daniel's re-breakout tournament? You know how I could tell, the way he played online the few days before, and his mood going into the event. He didn't say he was gonn do awesome like the tournament before where he went out the first day. Hwe went in focuses, prepared, and currently is in great position. Go DN!

He should be able to win this tourney IMO.
I hope he does...just like almost everyone else... but there is still a lot of poker to be played... what would you rate his chances... 1 in 4???

Honestly, the odds have to be at leasst 5 to 1 if this was sportsbook or a real betting site. But since we're a DN fan site we'll put it at 3.5 to 1 for DN to win it. I'm saying he's gonna make the final 6, what happens from there, its up to the poker gods.

Hey Patty. Great job as always. The monkey may finally stepping off of Daniels back! Very cool. Btw, I'm supposed to meet up with DNA and some of the gang at some point that weekend in Feb. (not the dinner part)Very much looking forward to finally putting some faces to the names, playing some cards and sharing a drink or 2. Should be a real nice time. Can't wait.Keep the timely updates coming! And GO 'D'!!!

Against this field DN ought to be a favorite to win at this point. I really hope he can pull it off.

Just from viewing the chp counts the past two days, what Mark Gregorich has been doing is impressive as well. Starting day two he was on the bottom of the count and lingered around the bottom the entire day. Looks like he made a strong push in the middle of today and is still hanging in there.

My thoughts exactly. I really respect his play, as well as his writing ability. His and DNs articles on Cardplayer are probably my favorites.
