whirleymob 0
1/2nl i raise 75 of clubs on the button about 3xbb donkey calls from bbflop A 10 10 with 2 spades donkey bets the minimum into me so i raise him to about 3x again he callsturn comes its a offsuit Q. I bluff $14, he calls. Now im sure he had spadesRiver offsuit 4 and he checks. I decide to bluff 16.. enuff to take him off 4 spades... but he calls, dam my 7 high is beat right?he shows 7/6 of spades, he called on the river with 4 spades and 7 high, and at first i thought he won the whole pot with his kicker, but he called me on 7 high and we split. I guess he made a good read lol.
Whatever 1
Paradise Poker 40/80 Hold'em (5 handed) (converted for Felicia)Preflop: Hero is MP with As, Ad. UTG (GONNA) raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, SB (olegus) caps, 1 fold, UTG (GONNA) calls, Hero calls.Flop: (13 SB) 4c, 8c, 6h (3 players)olegus bets, GONNA raises, Hero 3-bets, olegus caps, GONNA calls, Hero calls.Turn: (12.50 BB) Jh (3 players)olegus checks, GONNA bets, Hero raises, olegus 3-bets, GONNA caps, Hero calls, olegus calls.River: (24.50 BB) Kd (3 players)olegus checks, GONNA checks, Hero bets, olegus folds, GONNA folds.Final Pot: 25.50 BBResults below: Hero has As Ad (one pair, aces). Outcome: Hero wins 25.50 BB. WTF was that? They both check-folded on a $2k pot! Definitely didn't see that one coming. I actually thought there was a good chance I was going to get check-raised by someone with KK and lose. The next hand olegus, who was on full blown tilt (I have a feeling he spends a lot of time that way), reraised 37s against my AK. The flop came K high, we capped it. Turn gave him a flush draw, I think it went three bets and then I slowed down. River blank, he bets I call and beat his 7 high for a nice pot. He says "I'm so unlucky" in the chat. Huh? I told him "Yeah, you are unlucky to have been born an idiot." From Matt Maroon's blog.

Mists 0
Funniest hand I've seen was at a home tuornament game. Deep in a tournament, 8 players left.UTG raises all in(he was shortstacked), folds around to a guy who calls, and bhind him here is a reraise all in. Two others were also shortstacked andt hey went into the hand as well(massive pot right now, whoever won this would defiitely have the best chance at winning). The first caller, covered by the second reraiser, calls and goes all in.Hands were turned up before the flop..4 players showed AK.UTG showed QQ.Everyone went crazy.

socdave 0
In a home game, late in a tournament, I looked down and saw 88. There were 3 limpers ahead of me, I raised, and all 3 called. The flop comes 6 7 8 with 2 spades. The action went crazy at first, with a medium bet, a large raise, and a smooth call. From this action, I figured someone had a large pocket pair, maybe two of them had high pockets, and possibly someone had a straight. I figured even if someone had the straight, I had 1 8, 3 7's, and 3 6's to fill up. I was wrong. Eventually everyone gets it all in. Player 1 shows a set of 6's. Player 2 shows a set of 7's. I have a set of 8's. And the 4th player shows an OESD and flush draw. Turn brings the flush and now me and the other 2 r all drawing to 1 out. The river bricks out and we all get knocked out. Set vs. Set vs. Set vs. Flush

brad44 0
I was railing birding my brother and 2 friends who made it to the final 2 tables in a Live 150 person rebuy add on tourney. One particular hand was quad 8's beats aces full, the very next hand quad twos gets 2 allin callers, what are the odds of 4 of a kind twice in a row? My brother won and my other 2 friends finished 11th and 4th, I busted around 40th.

Dapowa 0
I've got 2 hands for this thread. Both were on the same day, the opening day of the poker room at the casino I was working at at the time. I was the floorman, so not in these hands. This was the very first hand dealt in the poker room. It was a 4-8 limit hold'em game 10 players at the table. The action is maxed out to $16 pre-flop and all 10 player call. Flop is:10 - 10 - 4action is maxed out on the flop to $16 and all 10 players call. Turn is:5action is maxed out on the turn to $32 and all 10 players call. River is:6action is maxed out on the river to $32 and 9 of 10 players are in.So the flop is now 10-10-4-5-6. The winning hand? 3-7 offsuit. yeah, ok..... nice pot.....Later that same day I'm standing beside a 7-stud game (2-4-8 limit) and the guy closest to me has rolled up Aces and Kings after all 7 cards are out. There's another guy with 888 showing and the trip 8's bets the $8. So the AAKK guy thinks for a while and then calls. Now I'm thinking to myself that he just doesn't understand the concept but he looks at the trip 8's guy and says "so what ya got?"The trip 8's guy, a little sheepishly, says "uh, trip 8's" pointing to his board. The other guy goes "oh, ok, it's good" and folds. Um......... can I quit and come play?
