I am a gym guy too, but with our 2nd baby due in the next month or so, we wont be able to take her to the gym daycare for 6 months, so I need something at home.and I got bands and a pull up barBands were 20, bar was 15 and sports authority. The expensive item was the dumbells, i got the golds gym ones that are like the bowflex (225 on sale) interlocking from 10-50 lbs. I shouldn't need anything heavier than that for home. I got a incline/flat bench too. this was about 100. Most of this was Xmas present from my mom and dad.
those dumbells are nice... but would limit me personally (brag)

Starting p90X today. Just got all the stuff I need from Sports Authority.So I was thinking since a bunch of us in here have discussed doing this, maybe we can have callenge/bet or something that helps us stay motivated, even if your not doing this specific workout, any will do. I am open for suggestions, I always need extra motivation, and if I have to hear from you assholes a times a week that I am slacking, it will get old and get me motivated.Maybe even someone with website building knowledge could create us a site and we can track our weight/measurements/BMI/Body Fat/times a day we mastrubate...you know the important things.What do you think, if you are serious PM me.
As much as I like to believe this will motivate me to get off my fat ass and try and get back into some sort of shape besides pear shaped, I know in my heart of hearts it won't motivate me. All it will do is make me steer clear of this forum and this thread for weeks at a time....hmmmm, maybe it's not such a bad idea.

For chest, yeah it would for me 2. But I am not trying to get huge, so I would just up the reps to get enough muscle burn. Plus as soon as my daughter can go to the daycare at the gym, I will go back there probably 3 days a week. This is to get healthy again, then I can worry about building up.

I knew you and Donk would be in. The bet could be something lame, I did a bet with a buddy of mine ealier this year and it was going well, then my wife got pregnant and he had some family stuff so we called it off, and now I am here and fatter than when I started. The bet with my buddy was supposed to be an all expense paid fishing trip, I know that is a bit extreme for this, but I want motivation and accountability for what I am doing. other than my wife, because I have learned how to ignore her.I'll take the before, but I will only post them if the afters look good, because good lord I got fat this year. Stress is a bitch! Any body have any idea on helping each other track this stuff on the intwrwebs so we can all see each others progress?
If you could work out the details of all of this I'd be up for it.. Starting whenever, and we go till the 3 months is up or whatever works..I hope I can get the newest phase in the mail here sometime within the next week so I can start it up again.. good thing about this one is that you only get 5 DVDs and the workouts don't take more than 45 minutes.. I hated it with p90x where the workouts were about an hour an 20 minutes with Ab ripper

All my cash is tied up in pornsite memberships and the occasional punishment of my liver.Design a program around that and I'm in.I really do need to do something, I'm in terrible condition.

If you can spend $50 resistance bands and pull up bar your golden. I think the 50 you stave off from your liver will help you too.

How many abs do you need to say that? Because that is how many away I am.FWIW I should really have serious motivation for this, my wife said I get to have a threesome if I can get abs.
