You're a dealer right?Only bought in for $5, with $5 min hand. Just trying to get my bowling money back for the night.From seat 1, first card A, second card A (2, 12, 22 being my options). I couldn't split because I only had bought for 5, so i hit. another A (3, 13, 23, 33). Hit again, A(4, 14, 24, 34). Hit again, a 6 for 20. I stand and win. Have you ever seen this before? I thought it was quite remarkable, but I don't play much blackjack...on your side, yes remarkable here's some of my personal favorites that i've dealt to myselfHand #1:showing a 2, best hand on the table is 16, everyone naturally standsi flip up an Ace, and draw to this: A 2 2 A A A...for 18Hand #2 (strangely enough, this is the very next hand, but a new shoe):showing a 6, everyone stays on their 17/18's and one guy has 20flip over an Ace, and get: A 6 5 A A A A 5...for 21Hand #3 - the worst i've ever done:showing an Ace, no one takes the insurance, i don't have iteveryone busts except one guy who stands on 19i flip up another Ace, and get this: A A A 4 5 A 2 A 4...for 20the worst hand a dealer can pull on you is a 13-card 21A A A A A A A 5 A A A A 5if you ever see that, run, and don't play with that dealer ever again Link to post Share on other sites

What kind of rotations do you do? 1 hour at a game, then switch to another? or all monday on blackjack, tuesday pai gow, etc.?poker is separate from everything else, and we're actually way overstaffed for poker dealersrotations, basically its 1hr 20min on, 20min break, and so on...the shift i work (8pm-4am) means i'm usually on 1 game all night, unless it closes...there's one floor supervisor in charge of table assignments (the "pencil") and they decide who's dealing where on any given night, based on game knowledge...so i have no clue what i'll be dealing until its time to go to my tablewe tried the 1hr here, 1hr there, etc. rotations (they call 'em "rubber band strings") once, but people got confused, so we stopped Link to post Share on other sites
