scottyno 0
Sounds good. How bout this$20 buy in for anyone who wants inYou play 10 mtts with at least 100 ppl in it, min 4.40 buy in, max 5.50, winner with best ROI(which i forgot for the 10000 time what it means) take all. Whos down?ooo, I like this idea, but I think it should be just 4.40s since they have a set prize pool and number of players. We also might want to modify the rules somehow, either make it your top X scores, or maybe your top X tlb point finishes. If we did it by ROI there would be no difference between finishing 10th or 18th. I also think it gets a little weird if we try to do total ROI and everyone plays different numbers of tourneys. I think it should either be: everyone plays X number or everyones best X finishes count and you have to verify your finishes by posting the email from stars that says where you finished. If you base it on ROI, someone playing in the minimum has an equal chance to someone entering 5x the minimum. ex.Player A plays 20 and cashes for 200 in those 20 200/88= ROI of 127%Player B plays 40 and cashes for 200 in those 40 200/176= ROI of 14%Player A and B may have equivalent monies and tlb points, but player A did it in half the tournaments. Player A should be rewarded for this not the other way around.

Player A should be rewarded for this not the other way around.true, but I think making it an unlimited number with a minimum just gets very hard to keep track of. We would have to keep track of every single 4.40 we play and our finish. Im not saying that people would leave out results where they finished poorly to pad there roi (though this is possible) but I know that myself I would probably end up forgetting 1 or 2 that I played, like when I play a bunch in 1 night at the end I usually dont remember exactly how many Ive played, if we did it just based on cashes or money then it would be much easier since all your cashes are easily verifiable since stars sends you the email. In the situation you described its true that player A should be rewarded, but player A would also be aware of what the standings were and be able to play more if he wanted to, and if his results in his first 20 were normal then he should end up with more cashes/tlb points anyway. Capping the number of cashes allowed also makes it so that people aren't neccesarily penalized for having a job or not a huge amount of free time to play since the person that has all kinds of free time during the day to play 10 each day as opposed to 3 can only use his top X scores as opposed to every single one. Napa_Don 688
long postyou shouldn't have to remember how you did cause you can request that stars send you your last x number of tournies results and you put them in a spreadsheet, you can use mine as an example, and then we can go from there, i personally think we should set a limit to how many you can play cause i don't many possible 4 hour blocks of times to play them except on the weekends sometimes and so i won't be able to play as many as everybody else

doublemeup 0
Okay so do we all agree that $20 is good? Also do we all agree that we'll go by the honor system but you'll have to have proof of your finishes? Now how about 15 total 180 man $4.40 on Pstars? That means you play 15 no more no less and all 4.40 180 mans on stars. I think 18 cash so we could do points for each place. 1rst-182nd-173rd-164rth-155th-146th-137th-128th-119th-1010th-911th-812th-713th-614th-515th-416th-317th-218th-1Of course we could adjust the # of tournaments but I think this would be the easiest and most telling of who does the best. You definitely should be rewarded more for the higher you finish. Also, I think we can go by the honor system unless someone is against it in which case we'll have to find someone to hold the money. I'm gonna attempt to put maybe $100 on Pstars tonight. Big jump for me, havn't played any place but FT for money in months. Anyways, tell me what ya think about this idea. ************************************************Lucky me, gonna play some tournament poker in a half hour. $8 sat into a $535 buy in tournament. I'm gonna have to luckbox this one.

I have a home game tourney in a little bit that I'm gonna attempt some different strategies at. Hopefully it'll be a late night. If not, I'll be back here playing some more. After a bit of tutoring from Oneeye, I feel more confident in my Sng game.

Napa_Don 688
Well, I had a big stack going into the 2nd hour of a 180 man but decided an impronptu game of football was more important, which turned into a main event wrestling match with our president. He beat me but I took him the whole match which is way better than anybody else in my class did. Going to shower and then get fuccckkkkkedddd uppppp.
doublemeup 0
DOUBLE IS NOW ON POKERSTARS!!!Srry I'm a little excited. I have $100 on there and a little less than $200 left on FT. My sn on stars is "doublemeup1" the same as on any other site. You'll see the badger as my image. We really need to get this bet goin before I lose my whole roll on there. scottyno 0
ok, roll call for who's in the bet. I think playing either 15 or 20 total is fine and going on honor system of how many you've played and posting stars congratualations emails is a good plan.List of people for $20 4.40 bet1. scottyno

doublemeup 0
That was my guess. So far I've had AJ, raised to 70 got reraised all in for 1500. Then I raised with TT, got 102 callers KQx flop just checked. Already 20 gone in like 2 minutes. I'm lickin my chops. They players have been HORRIBLE and they're dropping like flies.lolguy goes all in for 230 into a 60 chip pot on the flop of 6 A T with 36 and guy right behind him insta calls with K7o for no pair no draw. Man oh man these players are horrible.Ugh, KK utg raise to 90 and I get 5 calls? An ace flops.......I'm so lost in this tourney, I just layed down TPTK.
doublemeup 0
Done3 way all in pfMe-AQDonk-AJUtg-KQGG Me. Reeeeeeeeeally weird tourney. The players were among the worst I've seen in a long time. The structure early is very good and I'm confident that I'll be able to pwn this tourney in the future. I just have to get a feel for it. Heres how my tourney went:AJ, raise to 70, reraised to 1500, foldTT, raise to 70, 4 calls, KQx flop, checked around, blank on turn, chk/foldKK, raise to 90, 5 calls, AQx flop, checked around, blank on turn, chk/foldAT, call a raise of 90 in sb, T83 flop, bet 150 into 250 chip pot, called then reraised to 400, I fold.AQ, utg raises to 150, i reraise all in to 650, bb calls, utg calls all in, bb has AJ, utg has KQ....gg me. All I would've changed is not raising with AJ and raising more with KK and TT pf. I'll make the adjustments neccessary and hopefully even the unluckiest human on the planet can win some money. Overall though I really like stars so far, the only complaint is the server has been horrible.
MisterB 2
Can I ask a question? Not that its any of my business, but what about people who might be inclined to play 30 4.40s and post their top 15 scores?I guess it's an honor system bet, and the only one I would trust is DmeUp because hes from Connecticut. But nonetheless it sounds like an awesome idea. scottyno 0
I love the structure in those tourneys. People drop so fast that if you can get pretty deep the blinds are still pretty low relative to your stacks so you can actually play poker or wait for good hands instead of having to push with garbage and get lucky
