cheet 0
Well as many of you know the L.A. Poker Classic is currently going on at Commerce Casino. I live in Orange Coutny so I've been there playing/watching for the past couple days. What a treat! I could go right up to the tournament tables and watch everyone play, hardly anyone there watching. I even got to see Shawna Hiiatt, and whoever said she isn't as good looking as she is on T.V. is a liar. (But my dad got a good camera phone picture of her eating a chilli dog lol)The upper-limit poker room is wide open for anyone to just walk around. My dad and I walked right up to the tables where Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson, Unibomber were playing some 1000/2000 combo. We were walking around the casino we walked by TJ Cloutier and say hey, and he said hey back. Actually, it's funny because my dad said "Hey Champ" which is kind of mocking because he's known as an awesome tournament player but has never won a WSOP (like Phil Mikelson of Golf). The only disappointed is I have yet to see Daniel!!!!Just wanted to share my excitement, walking around and seeing all those people is a very star-struck experience.

pokerspice 0
Phil Mickelson won the Masters in April 2004. Just to clear that up. Great story though. That'd be cool to that close to the pros.Edit: I see that someone already beat me to it... oh well

NormanHaupt 0
Wow.. Shauna Hiatt isn't that cute in real life? She looks drop dead on tv. I was thinking about trying to throw the mack on while she's still a 2-bit star and ride her railroad all the way to the top.Mike Sexton: And here, our chipleader, Norman Haupt is putting on an impressive show today. After busting Gus Hansen's 2-7 off suit, he's causally leaning back in his chair talking with our very own Shauna Hiatt! Shauna Hiatt: So how does it feel to bust out someone, who many people believe to be one of the best players in the world?Norman Haupt: Feels pretty good, how about you and me get drinks later after I win this thing?Shauna: Not even if I was already drunk.man, I gotta work on my fantasies. Mark1808 0
I cedrtainly did not mean to mock TJ, I sincerely think he is a champ and a gentleman. Only afterwards did my son tell me TJ has not won the WSOP. The guy comes off so nice on TV and in person I would never give him anything but respect.Couldn't believe watching a cash game with Ivey, Brunson, Chan and Hansen! It would be like Tiger, Mickelson and Els all playing a side game for hundreds of thousands! The great golfers would not do that which shows you that poker players are a differant breed, all that matters is the action! You would wonder how guys who have made a living exploting an edge would get into large cash games where there is no edge!I do have a picture of Shauna Hiatt eating a hot dog. Even though you can't see her face I still rank it as my greatest athletic achievement! I'm thinking of selling the picture on EBay, unless Shauna personally begs me not to! In which case, that would become my greatest athletic achievment! Just kidding, she is R E A L F I N E!
