AceSpades11 0
Well what can i say... yesterday I was pumped I was due. Let me elaborate a bit.About a month ago you active forum readers will remember my post "The worst feeling of my life". What happened was basically I had 100,000 chips to Hammans 25,000 chips on pokerstars heads up with 1 person taking home the Monte Carlo EPT event seat worth $17,500 and anotehr getting nothing. Hamman won, and I got nothing.Yesterday, in the 6000 FPP competition with 116 people top two got a seat. Well I had a ridiculously nice comeback and at one point didn't even have double the big blind. I made it to the final table somewhat shortstacked until I tripled upwith AA vs KK vs JJ... I was pumped! I made it to the final 3 and with my stack at 43,000, JCastles at 19,000 and petresa at over 100,000 if memory serves me right guess what happened..... That's right I ended up finishing third and bubbled out again. I was so close TWICE NOW! LIKE WHAT THE FCK! I don't even know what to say anymore this just absolutely sucks. I gotta be one of the most depressed guys in the world right now. There goes my $17,500 prize package and dream of going to monte carlo AGAIN? Is this just some bad dream? Can someone pinch me please? what can i say im speechless this just sucks.
Guest
That really stinks boss, only advice I can give to you is really take a good hard look, at your final table performance. Did you play aggressive enough so that when you got into the bubble position, you could withstand some cold cards? Unfortuantely for you JCastle was your shortstack, and that guy is tough as nails and very experienced in short-handed play. As with your last setback, I'm sure you'll spot a few errors in your play, and you'll rebound like you've already done. Post up some hand histories in question so the forum can analyze them and maybe give you some different thought processes.Cheers,Xmas
vyrusguy 0
i agree with xmas, did you lose because of poor play on your part or were you just dealt some cold cards along with some bad beats?
AceSpades11 0
If you read my first post when i bubbled out in 2nd place I did make 2 crucial mistakes. There was honestly not 1 mistake I think i made all tournament. However, I'll post the hand history of the last 3 people and if you guys spot anything let me know. Thanks
