Boogie711 0
OK - I tried about 10 various search permutations, but couldn't find a thread discussing Sit and Go investment statistics.I'm wondering what a decent ROI is, and what percentage I should be cashing.I've just hit the 100 mark for $10NL SnG's - some on Pacific, mostly on Party. For a long time, I struggled to learn proper strategy, patience, discipline, all that stuff. My lifetime stats are ROI 9.37% with a 30.53 cash percentage. Now, since December, I've played 72 - some 1 table, some 2 table, but I've been playing with a lot more discipline. My ROI since is 42% (invested $750, won $1050), but my cash percentage is still only about 36%.What should I be aiming for?

custom36 5
I think they say that 30% ROI is good.100 sng's is nothing though. Only after 1000 sng's will you see a trend develop.
SilentSnow 1
http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...3953&highlight=this guy gets over 90, but for a beginner i think you should just shootfor 75 or so.
TheCinciKid 0
I think a 35%+ ITM would mean that you're probably a winning player and 20-25% is good for your ROI. Gene zzz 0
I have read NL tourney pros play for 10x buyin, but the stng doesnot have the rate of MTT ; also the buyin levels of stng determine most of the problem at the lower levels flux are greater. A major big time pro stated he make 7o% winners at 300d buyin, I also think you should first be looking to move up then to cash 100% ; in the real world only the top 1% of online players make a proof so 40% is good if it lasts

WhatArunAA 0
ive been consistently around 41 percent... havent really taken the time to calculate my return on investment.. but if you get around 36 percent I would say that you are a "winning" player.. even if the financial gains are small... also... if you say you are about a 35 or 36 % right now on party.. I would highly recommend shifting over to stars... I switched over from party and I have been doing well.. they do take a bit longer.. party tournies are about an hour..and stars sometimes go about 1.5 hours.. so if you have the patience.. and are a decent player.. sometimes you can wait out the money because the blind structures are longer.. and people like to gamble when its unnecessary.. partys tourneys are definately more of a crap shoot and its quite frustrating when you get 4 or 5 bubbles in a row. nell789 0
To the OP...you said you play at party right? also, do you multi-table the sng's? if so, how many at a time?If you play one at a time and really focus, at the $10 level, between 30-35% is an excellent ROI.If you play 3 or 4 tables at a time, then a 25-30% ROI is great.Any more than 4, (unless you're a super-human -- see zeejustin.com --) then you're looking at 20-25%.anyone who tells you differently (besides minor differences in %) doesn't know what they're talking about.
