I think capping pre-flop with QQ is incredibly standard. You're behind to exactly 2 hands and plenty of hands 3-bet that you're ahead of.

First:You made the raise from MP3, and the CO 3bet. Because your raise came from LP, his 3bet range is broader than if your raise came from, say, UTG+1. Second:It's true that you may occasionally be behind the CO, but every time you are ahead of the CO, you have HUGE value against hte field. There are 3 other callers in this hand who have a much worse hand almost every single time. I'd probably cap with as little as jacks here, and i think against a loose enough field you could argue for doing it with as little as tens.

That's very situational. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, it really depends a lot on the action.

Knowing UB you probably just outdrew some weak idoit with KK, but yes capping QQ is correct.
