I don't like it, but it covers you for bad variance
Petoria 0
If you're talking about skill level, you'll see worse players online at the same limits. If you have the proper bankroll, then you should check out 3/6.

iggymcfly 0
I really hate these stupid generalizations that people make where X limit online = Y limit live. It's just not true.I've played a 3/6 game live that was tougher than an online 10/20 game, and I've played a 10/20 game live that was easier than a 2/4 game online. Basically, just buy in for whatever amount you feel comfortable with. If you win, go up. If you lose, go down. Just make sure that you have a comfortable bankroll, and make sure that you follow the "go down when you lose" advice as easily as you follow the "go up when you win" advice. cashmoneymomma 0
Thanks...I was thinking I had heard something like this a while back...(that play online is tougher so I should go down a level or 2) but I guess it varies from the replies I've gotten. cashmoneymomma 0
Ouch. Didn't mean to hit a sore spot!I just didn't want to go buy in to a 4/8 game online and get my a$$ handed to me...I guess I'm risking that at any level though. Thanks! princeof56k 0
I've played 4/8 limit live (its the lowest limit at a local casino), and I find the play is a lot worse than the .25/.50 limit I used to play online at PokerRoom.
