what music are you guys listening to?

Perfect From Now On is probably in my top 25 albums ever.I'm listening to that right now. Also, check out their album There's Nothing Wrong With Love. Wang didn't mention, but it's great, too.
Agreed, agreed. I figured I was already overloading DonGiovanni as is. It's pretty nifty to watch how they've changed as a band over the last decade+. Now: The Islands- Return to the SeaThe Unicorns- Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?Various Wu-Tang, and Wu-Tang solo members, including some sweet Ghostface and ODB (Eddie Murphy taught me that back at the house)Wang

Hans, boubie, I'm your white knight

holy shit, I can't stop listening to Run The Jewels 2

Bob Dylan.

I might get castrated for this, but I was severely let down by Built To Spill's live show. I saw them last summer in Oregon, and they just didn't live up to what I expected. I do like their studio stuff, though. And I'm with you, Wang, on the Ghostface stuff. I saw him live a couple weeks back, and haven't been able to stop listening to his albums since. Fishscale is dope. Also, I've been listening to a lot of Atmosphere/Slug as of late. Lucy Ford, Seven's Travels, and Felt 2: A Tribute To Lisa Bonet have all been in heavy rotation.

Oh man, I'd love to see Ghostface live... I haven't seen a lot of rap or hip/hop shows in my time, being a nearly-translucent whiteboy, but I need to see more. I saw the Roots once, and it was surprisingly incredible.Wang

ok ive listened to Keep it like a secret quite a bit and i really like it. my favorites from that CD are The Plan, Carry the Zero, and Time Trap. Carry the Zero is awesome, especially the riff at the end. Perfect From Now On i havent listened to as much but i like what ive heard on that too. though i think i prefer the first album right now. I Would Hurt a Fly is my favorite from Perfect so far. i couldnt find the other albums on my usual downloading music source, but i should be able to get them soon enough.

Is there anything better than finding a new band you can enjoy that already has a pretty extensive catalogue of jams you can discover whenever you want?Doubt it.I'm hungover from last night still (at midnight tonight), so I'm curled up on the couch in the fetal position listening to Radiohead's Kid A (and repeating Motion Picture Soundtrack a lot), Beck's Sea Change, and some random Nick Drake stuff. Also, I've eaten 9 submarine sandwiches today.Wang

Brian Eno - Before & After Science
Dude, I have to thank you for talking about Brian Eno. I never listened to him until you started mentioning him frequently in this thread, I love it.

Not a problem....definitely check out the collaboration between Eno and John Cale....I think the CD is titled Wrong Way Up. It is not easy to find, but all of the songs are very catchy and most have the Eno-ish quality to them.

The Trace thread inspired me to throw in some Oakenfold.

mbreon, you know a little about electronic music so would you mind reviewing my little project here. you probly gonna want to download the songs to hear them in normal sound quality.
Not bad. I dig the the "Northern Lights" song a little more than the other.Since everyone is going electronic tonight, I've decided to throw in The Secret Art of Science by DJ DB, the first Mixed Live by Donald Glaude, and a live set by LTJ Bukem....
